The Lord just allowed us to find Scripture Songs in the KJV. They are very helpful in memorizing God's Word and the singing is beautiful. I have a hard time memorizing, but with these I"m having a very easy time picking up the verse and really learning it.

That's a fantastic idea for memorizing scripture! Music is a great memory tool.
Learning God's Word off by heart is so important (CAUTION: HYPOCRISY ALERT!I have a LOT of work to do in this area, which God has convicted me about...), it is the Bread of Life! Other religions have put myself and other Christians to shame. If Jewish boys can memorize the Torah, I'm sure I & others can learn at least some key verses! How many of us can follow along with our favourite movie word for word, and yet not know the very words of God?

Thanks for the link. I have found this method of using songs to memorize Scripture particularly helpful with my children, they have memorized many verses in this way.
