Does anyone know anything about him? A friend wanted me to go with her to a meeting where he will be ministering. I can't go anyway but was curious about the guy. I have never heard of him.

I've listened to a couple of his shows. they were very informative. as with any teacher, the wise thing to do is take what he says with a grain of salt and use discernment.
I've seen him and think he has some good things to say. I think he sometimes over spiritualizes verses, and I question some people I have seen him with (i.e Paula White...2John 7-11). But I had fun watching him once as he went verse to verse to verse.
