my uncle

Knowing that so many here pray for the needs that are presented, and knowing also that many more pray who don't even post, i lift my uncle (well, my aunt's husband) up to all the saints here.

After experiencing severe pain in his lower back, they have found a spot on one of his kidneys. The doctor said that it doesn't look good. He still has some more tests to undergo, but naturally my aunt (and the rest of our family) is burdened by this news. I ask for your prayers.

They say he has cancer in his kidney, and it will have to be removed. They're going to do a bone-scan to find out more.

Thanks for all your prayers. They moved my uncle's surgery date back a few weeks, so he did not have it until Wednesday. Initially everything went well, but this morning my cousin called, and his white blood cell count is low. They said he could either have an infection, or it could be a blockage in the other kidney.

I have prayed brother.

Thank you for the continued prayers. Yesterday they found that he developed a blood clot on one of his lungs (which is beggining to dissolve, thank God), and today they say that he had a mild heart attack. It almost seems like everything bad that could happen is happening, but God is faithful, and his remaining kidney is starting to function properly. Please remember my aunt as well, as all of this is taking a toll on her emotionally, and i'm sure physically as well.
