another word for testimony

i'm rackin' my brain...i need help finding another way to say testimony...any suggestions?
for an explanation...our youth group is doing a web-site on prayer. they want a section for testimonies too. but they don't want to use lingo that comes across to churchy...so they are looking for another word

This is an old word but sometimes old words make a comeback. It was once called a "witness". I know it sounds churchy but one can be a witness to anything.

More generic might be the word "experience."
