No doubt, you have probably listened to some of the great sermons that are available on this website, and find that you now want to contribute to the forum. Just guessing.

I love what Vance Havner said, "If we love the world, like God loves the world, then we will never have to worry about loving it the way that we shouldn't."
By the way, you've sighted that the most important commandment is to "LOVE (one) another & the one true God..", have you ever thought about the fact that Jesus mentioned "Loving your neighbour as yourself" as being the second greatest commandment, in order to clarify the first, which is "love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength", by stating that the second is like the first?
Why is it that so many people feel the need to put them the other way around?

I am glad that you found this resource. I encourage you to listen to some of the sermons available, here are two that speak towards that you statement that you have left as your first comment. This phrase is a "evangelical" catch phrase that ignores biblical truth.
God loves the sinner that he died for Him. But God does not love the sinner in his to condone his life as being right. He is called a "enemy of God" and is not in right relation with him. We are to see people as not in right relation with God and that to be a dangerous and fearful place for them to be.
Another phrase that is used much then in reponse is "we are all sinners" and another modern day evangelical phrase "I am a sinner saved by grace." My response to people is if you are a "sinner saved by grace" then you are not a sinner but a saint now!
I hope you do find the resources challanged to your faith on this website and grow from them. Much of the content of the site is digging back into christian history past these last 50 years.
