[b]A Prophesy of Revival coming to Ireland.
The Revivalist, Duncan Campbell came to the Faith Mission Bible College in Scotland and spoke to the students while the Lewis Revival was still going on. He told of a midwife having a vision of Ireland all in darkness but then a light breaking out in the South that filled the whole land. In 64 while preaching at a conference in N.Ireland Mr. Campbell prophesied, ‘Ireland will have riots and revival.’ In the light of this he came aside to seek the face of God during which he received a vision of coming revival to Ireland. He described how ‘God would visit the island through small bands of praying people in the country districts.’ That evening after preaching his last message of the convention, ‘God took over.’ The people were gripped with awe and no-one could move for the next half-an-hour during this divine stillness and quietness ‘at least four people heard indescribable sounds from heaven.’ Then the people began to weep and pray.
