More and more as each day passes is my heart breaking for this world. We cannot sit back and blame dirty politics and foul mannered hollywood , for the way this present world is. A sleeping church births a dying world. And a dying world produces dying children. Let us brothers and sister in Christ , come together and dedicate more time to : Prayer on our knees before God with an open bible. And reading Gods word like we never have before. Living in the word and living in prayer. Please stand by me on this lets quit playing and start praying and seeking God. The more we come together and devote to God the more we can turn this world upside down. Its going to take prayer and more prayer and more prayer. Prayer until like God with Moses hes say's Let ME ALONE!!! Tarry with me in the prayer closet more than I know you already do. We are responsible for the people in our society. Lets give God more time this week and pray like we never have before.Lord teach us how to pray.. Lets stand between a holy God and a dying world. What happens when the salt loses its savor? If we spent half as much time praying as we do on the computer we might have some effect. No more debating issues and certain doctrines lets make a vow to stand together and PRAY!!! However long it takes until God answers. God shake us and shake this world , revival will not come by anything other than desperate PRAYER... Give us revival or we DIE!!!!

No doubt, most recognise the cry in your heart for revival, for most have that cry also.

We are too selfish to have revival, revival costs, and we refuse to pay the price.

What's the price?

As you have said, prayer, more prayer is needed, more time in the word and seeking God, more fasting, more of everything that God wants.

Matt 7v21 says 'Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Are we doing God's will, or our own?

There are so many questions to ask which we have to answer ourselves and be honest with ourselves, each other and God.

Psalm 51v6 tells us that God desires truth in the inward part.

We need to repent before the world will.

Judgment begins at the house of God, 1 Peter 4v17

God called the church in the book of Revelation to repent, we need to do so now.

In conclusion, you are right.

God bless.

If we spent half as much time praying as we do on the computer we might have some effect.

Less world, more Word. Less pleasures more prayer. Thank you brother for beseeching us to seek heaven. Our children, my children are dying, while I am typing words on a keyboard that will probably become ashes. I love this forum and no doubt I have gleaned wisdom here that has strengthened my walk with God. But I have felt God pricking me that I spend too much time here.

I also have been convinced that I spend too much time reading other books. And in the reading of other books I get confused and doubt sets in and I have unneccessary wrestlings within my mind that upset the peace that Jesus gives. I am belieiving that it is truly surrendering ourselves to Him who is faithful, if that means for me to give up computer, books and lean only on the Word and Prayer, am I willing? Willing to be obedient?
John Hyde prayed, "give me souls or I die..." He felt a burden enough that he was responsible, inextricably linked to the dying or living of souls. Is there hope that we can be so separate from the world, yet so inextricably linked to the outcome (by life or by death).

Am I making any sense with this, can anyone elaborate on what I am so un-eloquently writing?

Is there any witness to this.

Jesus asks us to take his yoke, for his burden is light and yoke easy.
Can this be ours?
Do we want it, to drink of the same cup and be baptized with the same baptism.

I pray now that the Lord of Hosts would arise and His enemies be scattered...

I pray now that He would send out laborers...
who have been fanned into flames...
who travail for souls...

..lest we die

we need to dedicate ourself to prayer.
Prayer is not always easy, we have to work.
Giving up things we love, to have more time to pray. Going to bed sooner. wakeing up sooner.
I went to a dying Church, because prayer wasn't vauled as it should be. But the fact is few Church really understand the full importance of prayer in everything. Few Church have prayer meeting with lots of people. Not to stay, there are not good Church with few people. But God calls us to pray hard for our brothers and sisters to want God. I have prayed and wept begging God to make people who want to be with Him. We are in a war, and to win we need lots of prayer. A person told me that I shouldn't say prayer is the most important thing. But I think it show our hunger for God. SO how hungery we are for God, do we want Him so bad we could die.
It is so sad how much time I wast my time.
May God help to see where I wast my time.
