Folks, I don't know about you but I'd love to see a movie of Charles Spurgeon with the production quality of The Passion Of The Christ, The Nativity Story, and Amazing Grace. If not Spurgeon, then John Wesley. If not Wesley, then David Brainerd or better yet, Johnathan Edwards. If not Edwards, then Whitfield, must I go on? I'm sure you get my point.
They've done movies I'm sure on these guys but they really are horrible movies because they preach at you and try to teach you something and it is no longer a great movie but a sermon. The Passion, Nativity, and Grace never preached at you but rather captivitaed you and took you back to the event by "showing" and not "telling" and this is what I'd love to see on the big screen!
