Online Libraries

I recently ran across this site; [url=http://www.ccel.org/]Christian Ethereal Classics[/url]. I'm not sure what to make of it, there is some great stuff here as well as a few authors like Ralph Waldo Emerson. I was not aware that his writings fell under the guise of Christian classics. :-?

Any comments?

I am also wondering if anyone knows of other online resources of this nature.

There is some really good stuff there, and some questionable. For instance, they have an audio version of the Greek New Testament, but the text is Westcott and Hort's corrupted version. Having said that, there is plenty of good material there. There is even Jacob Boehme, which is pretty hard to get a hold of.

CCEL is a great resouce... although they could be considered ecumenical.

The fact that they have a searchable version of the Church Fathers is awesome! They also have Jonathan Edwards writings, Spurgeon etc.

I went back to the link you gave and did a little more poking around. The first time I clicked a link it gave me nothing of value. Later I tried others and found the stuff you refer to. Biggest problem on some is the lack of titles. I guess you just need to dig through it till you find (hopefully) what you're looking for. Invaluable never the less.
