Prayer for Pastors' Conferences and Crusades

Pastor David and Gary Wilkerson, along with a team from Time Square Church, are about to begin on their 2004 Schedule of Pastors' Conferences all over the world and they need prayer. Here's a link to Pastor David's schedule:http://www.davidwilkerson.org/Conferences/conferences2004.htmlPastor Dave shared that indeed many people are hungry and many pastors, worldwide, need encouragement. Let's pray for him and the entire team that God give them His strength, His wisdom and His love as they reach out to our brothers and sisters all over the world. When Pastor Dave goes to different places, he also holds crusades and he has often shared encounteriing many youths who so desire Jesus. Some of them running to the altars and crowding the aisles of the venues, as what happened in places in Europe last year. Let's pray for them as well. The conferences will begin tomorrow in Zambia. If you'll look at the schedule, it really seems so hectic especially since Pastor Dave is already 73. But God has continued to sustain this man, who is after His heart, and let's uphold him and the entire team in prayer. To God be all the glory, for all the lives that will touched in all these countries through the work of this man of God.- Victoria

Yes, Pastor David has encouraged so much I feel like I know him. Kind of like some of the brethren here on SermonIndex.Let's pray for Him and ask that God will continue to direct His steps. I hear messages from Him quite often and I'm often amazed that the Holy Ghost always hits the target when I hear Him speak.Thank you Father for our dear brother David and His willingness to be molded by you. May the Holy Ghost moisten these jars of clay so that we may be molded into your image. Amen.

Hello :) I just wanted to update everyone on Pastor David. He turned 73 today. Praise God! Pastor Dave shared that he was speaking with the Lord and he told Him that "Lord I don't have the strength(physically) for this trip(or trips like this)" and the Lord told him, "Yes, you don't". :) It is such a blessing to be in a church that is led by a man who loves Jesus with all his heart and is wholly dependent on Him. Pastor Dave, Pastor Gary and the rest of their team will be flying out tomorrow for Helsinki. They will travelling to Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Let us uphold them in prayer. According to the pastors from these places, many hearts there have gone cold in the things of God. Let's pray for a fresh word from heaven for each place and for hearts to be broken and to respond to the Lord. Here's the link for the details of this leg of trips:http://www.davidwilkerson.org/Conferences/conferences2004.htmlEnjoy your week, everyone.Victoria

Let's pray for a fresh word from heaven for each place and for hearts to be broken and to respond to the Lord. AMEN! I know the Lord will be opening the eyes and hearts of many as bro wilkerson ministers. He is getting old but God will strengthen him! It's quite scary to think of the men of God that have died in the 20 years! how many true prophets, watchman of God are there? where are they? I know that wilkerson is already grieving over the loss of this different breed of men who are totally captivated with the eternal, and if he is thinking they are gone, how much more should we be praying for God to raise up men and women of renuion amongst use? are we ourselves going to hear this call to drop all and follow Him?

Is there anyone from SermonIndex going to Brother Dave's upcoming conference in Birmingham in August? I'm hoping to see a few of you there.Let's continue to pray that God will raise up people that will preach the Word with boldness and confidence and in love.

are we ourselves going to hear this call to drop all and follow Him?Indeed it is such a challenge, Greg. God's been working in my heart about this. It is easy to sit back and watch what these mighty men and women of God are doing but when it comes to my own life and stepping out for the Lord it is so hard. I am trying to witness right now to my brother, whom I sense has really gone cold towards the things of the Lord. But the Lord has reminded me that for me to have true witness to him, I have to let Him deal with certain areas within my own life. I trust that as He ever woos me, He also does the same for my brother. I think I try too hard sometimes to show a good witness as I did last night and when I depend on me, I fail. So I'm just letting the Lord work in me. This morning while I was jogging I listened to Pastor Carter Conlon's "The Last Letter of Paul". I don't know if it's on sermonindex already but it's on the TSC website. It's about Paul's last epistle: 2 Timothy. I was so greatly encouraged and challenged by this message. Here Pastor Carter talks of Paul passing on the torch to Timothy and relating to him that his strength all through out his ministry was Christ. That everything was all about Jesus and that God will be the one to supply us what we need. The sermon covered a range of things, persecution, disentagling one's self from the world, and much more. It just really spoke to my heart. I remembered your post when I was listening to the sermon this morning. I think it could bless you and others as well.
