Two prayer requests that I have on behalf of my church for the upcoming month.
In 2006, my church did a series of exposistions from 1 Peter that specifically focused on persevering in the midst of difficulty that proved to be a real eye-opener and challenged a lot of the false motives that a lot of Christians sadly fall into.
For 2007, we will be expositing from Exodus. March has mainly deal with "Faith in A tight Corner" based on the Israelites captivity in Egypt as described in Chapters 1 and 2. In April, we will be beggining a unit called "From Ashes to Revival" that will focus upon personal renewal of our relationship with God based on Exodus 3.
Secondly, our denomination will be having it's annual national convention in Melbourne during the Easter weekend. The topic is "A prophetic Church" and will specifically deal with how the Gift of Prophecy and the NT office of Prophet can be operated within the local church today. The Saturday night will be a special "Missions Night" where we listen to testimonies from members that have planted new churches througout the world as well as pray that God will raise up new missionaries. The convention is expecting 1000 delegates, though places are tight, making organizing and logistics difficult for our Melbourne church who will be hosting.

I will greatly appreciate your prayers, as having a focus on knowing God's voice plus preaching on personal revival is sure to bring about powerful changes.
