The late Leonard Ravenhill is one of our featured speakers on this site and his sermons and teachings have greatly influnced my christian walk over the last 2 years. Leonard Ravenhill was a teacher/confernce speaker in his later life and was great friends with A.W. Tozer. Leonard Ravenhill became one of the twentieth century's greatest authorities on revival. His message is drastic, fearless, and often radical. Ravenhill has had a huge impact on me in the last 6 months. It's almost to the point where I prefer to listen to him over anyone else. Where are the Ravenhill's today? I know that LEonard died years ago but what about his kids? What are they doing? I think I heard one of them, Paul maybe, was involved in the Brownsville movement and is now serving with Mike Bickle. Just curious. One would think the children of that man would be powerful warriors for God. But then again, even Solomon's kids went astray. I don't want to drag this on too long, but what happened to Finney's and Tozer's and Moody's kids? One would think... Also, on the Ravenhill website there is no description of what the videos offered are like. Are they simply still footage of Leonard Ravenhill preaching? That would be incredible. Please let me know at least what the Elijah video consists of. Also, I noticed looking around the web that there are various (I ran across 3) tapes/tape packs that are available from him and the titles aren't found in the sermons offered on this site. I am very curious about this. Do you know what I am referring to? Thanks.

Yes, I have felt that I have been mentored in someways by ravenhill by reading his books and listening to his powerful sermons! :-o His son david ravenhill I think is the one that you are referring to that is involved with brownsville. His son paul ravenhill, has been a missionary to south america and is living there now! you can read alot of his powerful teachings on www.ravenhill.orgI have ran across some of david ravenhills videos and will pray about putting them up on the site.Also, on the Ravenhill website there is no description of what the videos offered are like. The elijah video is the best quality, it is in asf format.All or most of the videos are leonard ravenhill teaching at a bible college in texas. The students of those classes must have been blessed. He is quite old in some of the videos, before preaching in the elijah video he was bedridden for 2 weeks.as for those tape sets? im not sure you can order some good messages at www.ravenhill.org to help out the family ministry.

Thanks for the updates. That's encouraging to hear what his children are doing. SOrry, I screwed up about the tape packs. I meant they were for Duncan Campbell, not Leonard Ravenhill. If you want, go to www4.addall.com and look him up. There's about 4 pages to search through but you will notice the one's I am talking about if you look carefully. I would probably purchase them but I honestly don't own anything that will play tapes.

I dont have any more $$ to spend on tapes right now, I think I have alot of duncan campbell about 23 tapes and my great friend and brother in christ that is volunteering to help is encoding them as we speak! so they should be up on the site in the next few months.

First of all, let me say Welcome to all the new members. I have been inactive here for a little while now. I hope to get active again in the discussion forums real soon. I pray that you will be blessed by the fellowship here.There are only a handful of men who I can say have truly changed my life, but almost all of them were influenced by Bro Len Ravenhill. I will get to see one of those men, Winkie Pratney, next month at camp.I don't think we'll ever really know the extent of influence our lives have had until we get to heaven. We just need to keep on living it, because to whom much is given, from those much will be required.
