MISSIONS: Support a Native missionary, Invest in Eternity Today!

SermonIndex is fully behind these 2 missionary organisations and I do pray that saints from sermonindex will support these organisations that are comprimised of mostly native missionaries. We have so much money in western culture and other urban areas across the world. I think we are all without excuse to not support one these 2 organisations with $30 a month. That is 2-3 of our Christian books that we shelve in our collections of 100's of books. That is literally 5-6 fast food meals a month. Or even more sad its 10 latte coffee drinks. We need to invest in eternity, these are the last days.

"But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where niether moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." - Matthew 6:20-21

[b]Gospel For Asia[/b] - In each aspect of Gospel for Asia's ministry, the primary aim is to plant churches among the unreached those who have never heard the Gospel. MISSIONARY - RAJESH

Marital status: Married to Manju

Family Background: I was born April 10, 1978, into a Non-Christian family.

Salvation Experience: As per the traditions of my family I too worshipped spirits and natural powers. We offered animal sacrifices to appease these supernatural deities to attain peace, prosperity and healing from sicknesses. Eventually it was becoming evident to us that our devotion could not bring any solutions to the burning problems that we were facing. We were frustrated of battling with unavoidable crisis everyday that made our lives miserable. My displeasure with my faith reach its peak when my wife fell prey to the blind superstitions around and lost her life. My ignorance had killed my wife, and I could no longer trust in a religion like this.

Despite what happened it was not easy for me to turn away from my beliefs because I was a slave to these evil practices. But a time came when I saw my sister on her deathbed heading toward the same fate of my wife. Witch doctors did their best but failed and there was no medicine that seemed to heal her disease. We were on the verge of giving up and accept life at its worse. But the loving Lord had seen our plight and did not let our hopes die. A believer who lived near by, learned of my sisters' illness, came to us and offered to pray. Though little hesitant we accepted it as a final resort and joined him in prayer. The man of God assured us of God's power to heal every disease and His love for us as he bowed in prayer. It never entered my mind that I was about to witness a miracle. I could not comprehend the love of the Almighty God who had heard mere words of His servant and touched my sister with a healing touch that restored her to sound health. It was incredible! In the following days I learned more of the loving Lord and along with my entire family surrender myself under His mighty arms. Subsequently we made a public profession of our faith and joined a local church.

Words are not enough to tell how amazingly my Savior transformed my life. I was a new creation that was all I knew. Filled with gratitude I dedicated myself to serve my Lord as long as I lived. In due time I was confirmed of my calling, and I was enrolled in a Bible College to be equipped for the task ahead.

Present Ministry: As an evangelist I serve the Lord in India where the Non-Christians are in a majority. Apart from planting churches I am also involved in open-air meetings, literature distribution, house visitation, prayer fellowships and personal evangelism.

Please pray for me and my family that we may fulfill God's plan to expand His kingdom.

I think it interesting how brother Yohannan believes God has called him to help raise up 100,000 native missionaries through GFA.

our churches in north america ought to support native missionaries much, much more......I heard that something like 2% of the money going in to american churches actually leaves for overseas. that is a wicked sin.
