Another wake up call

E
enid Apr 12, 2007

Got this email from a missionary in Europe via someone he knows. It speaks for itself.

Dear (name)

Christ is Risen. He is risen indeed.

How are you doing brother? Things are going well for us here in Germany. The country is so pagan. As godless as can be. You would never know by observing that Luther was ever here. Switzerland and other countries in Europe have negligible evidence of Christianity.

Who cares about Martin Luther, Zwingli and Calvin. They all mean nothing.

Corruption, racism and Isalm are growing on a daily basis.

My email in of itself can be used against me for attacking Islam. Islam is gowing all the time through birth, immigration and conversion.

Up to 3000 Germans are converting to Islam a year. There are areas in Berlin and Stockholm that are totally Muslim.

Churches are being sold and turned to museums and other things.

Some Muslims are approaching priests to purchase the churches and turning them to mosques.

The West is filled with ignorant people who are sleeping.

One day they will wake up when it is too late.

Islam at this rate will be the main religion of Europe in less than 15 years.

Ravi Zacharias said, 'Europe gave up a religion that gave the feedom to choose. Soon they will have a religion that will not give them choice'

Less evidence of Christmas and Easter are seen.

Halal meat, shawarma are replacing fish and chips and burgers.

You have to look harder to find schnitzel.

But you can get donor kabab at every corner.

The hijab is so prevalent everywhere I go.

The only encouragement I have is that God is Sovereign and The Lord Jesus will reign supreme.

Even so come Lord Jesus.

You are correct enid, it is another wake-up call. We better wake up and cry out to God before it is not possible.

The amazing thing is that:

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

1Jo 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

The sad part is we have the goods, but we don't use them. We are just too busy. We are just enjoying life too much. If we enjoy it now we won't later. We are called to be salt and light but we are lazy.

I thank God for the wonderful believers around the world (the little handful) that lay down their lives for the gospel. We who are complacent need to go join the army and start boot camp before our flab causes us to not be able to fight when it is at our door.

Joel 2:1 ¶ Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand;

Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, [even] to the years of many generations.

Joel 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land [is] as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Joel 2:4 The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Joel 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Joel 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

Joel 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

Joel 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

Joel 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

Joel 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

Joel 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Joel 2:12 ¶ Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

Joel 2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Joel 2:14 Who knoweth [if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

Joel 2:15 ¶ Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

Joel 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Joel 2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where [is] their God?

Joel 2:18 ¶ Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Joel 2:19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

Joel 2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

Joel 2:21 ¶ Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Joel 2:22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].

Joel 2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Joel 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joel 2:27 And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joel 2:28 ¶ And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Joel 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joel 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

I can only speak about the church I have seen in the USA. The majority of the priests are not weeping between the porch and the altar, they are leeping and bounding and shouting how blessed they are. They do not, and don't want to, see the storm clouds gathering. That would upset their party. God help us to take messages like yours seriously before it is too late.

Thanks for sharing that letter.

The scripture in Matt 28v19 that you gave made me think of this.

Gen 11v4, '...come let us build ourselves a city and a tower, whose top is in the heavens and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered aboard over the face of the whole earth.

Jesus said go into all the world, man said stay together and make a name for yourself.

Seems like that is what churches are into.

I cried when I read that email, because it says so much.

How sad and useless the church has become. We just let satan in through the front door, no questions asked.

Why don't we question things anymore? Do people have to die and go to hell because we don't want to hurt their feelings?

There was a time when ministers did weep between the porch and the altar, but that also is a thing of the past, mostly.

Ezekiel 8 always gets me.

Look at verse 16.

'So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and there at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the PORCH AND THE ALTAR were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.

The church might not be worshipping the sun, but they are sinning against God by ignoring Him.

Still, as the email said, God is Sovereign and the Lord Jesus will reign supreme.

God bless.

My spirit wails in grief as I read this post. Territory after territory is building an army against the army of God.
And I see us, in our churches unaware of this surmounting opposition to Truth, and we are "rejoicing" because God is going to take care of "our" situations, and provide for "our" families, and bring "us" into positions of ministry etc...

I have been guilty of this very same "oblivian" in the past.

Now, instead, I rejoice knowing that God is Sovereign...fully aware of what is happening, what is to come and the Victory He will bring forth...
He has raised up hundreds and hundreds of us, who ARE in our prayer closets, who ARE alert to the coming "awakening."
The travail for the church and the Bride of Christ, which is so precious to Him, has gone and is still going, before the Throne of God.

With the surmounting armies building in numbers against the Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God WILL burst forth out of the Heavens and Revive His Church!...

We will wake up, turn our faces and hearts Godward and be thus the mightier army, irrelevant of physical number, but in Spirit and Strength, Power and Authority of God.

I don't know to what extent God will go to bring His people back to Him, to get them ready for this attack, but I know He will do it completely.
After all, He faced His people with an enormous Red Sea and the enemy was breathing down their necks, ... we know the end result of that story.

God being the Same Yesterday Today and Forever, will do every bit as Mighty an Act for where we are today...

Oh the Glory He will receive...Oh the Glory and the Honor and the Praise!!!

There will be NO denying who the God of gods is...for one day EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!

Hallelujah!!!!

Goldminer....
I must tell you when I first read that post, I was stricken with grief in my heart....
(as mentioned in my first line of reply), but as I continued to write the Spirit of God just took over with His Hope...
Well...
Just now, I downloaded PRAYING IN THE CLOSET by David Wilkerson (page 12) and I just jumped out of my seat and had to write this....
In that sermon he addresses this VERY SAME concern and the HOPE....
Please listen to it. We will all be encouraged. It is absolute confirmation to what His Spirit spoke into my spirit this morning when I replied to this post.

Reply to all\t

Recently I worried I was posting to much but my motivation has been renewed by this wake up call in scripture and what I see happing in the world.

Timothy 4

1. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I cried when I read that email.

My spirit wails in grief as I read this post.

I was stricken with grief in my heart....

Why this wailing and grief? Because people are eating Halal meat, Shawarma and Kabab instead of fish and chips and burgers? Misplaced grief….. that’s all I can say!

2 Thessalonians 2:11 (NAS)
For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,

For the United States, the deluding influence is human reasoning disguised as Atheism.

My grief or sadness of heart is regarding the condition of the Church. We seem to be so caught up in "our worlds and our lives" and not aware that people are lost and going after "strange gods" rather than the One True and Living God.
Jesus wept over Jerusalem...because He cared so much for them.
I know that God views the Church as His Bride. And we aren't fully clothed in His Spirit.

But I do get excited and full of Hope to know that God will do whatever it takes to make us a Bride, without spot or wrinkle...

Victory was already won at the Cross...
Jesus KNEW He would win that Victory, yet He still wept over the condition of the hearts of His People.

I have turned off the TV - I have my TIVO record those few programs I can watch without gagging.

Oddly, these programs I cannot watch anymore are supposed to be Christian channels. It's April, and the Spring Praise-a-thon and Share-a-thon's are upon us. The few good teachers, and there are some on TV, will be back next week if the Satellite Channel's that let them buy cheap time on TV, guilt enough people into promising money they might well do better to keep.

Being mostly housebound by disability, I cannot even pretend to go to what is called a church here in Southern California. Instead, I have become a small house church, because, except for social reasons, there is little reason to attend a church nearby. There are a few, but they are far away for someone unable to drive regularly.

If people nearby my neighborhood want to talk God, even for a few minutes, some stop in here. The rest I find in doctor's waiting rooms, and at the grocery store, when I can go myself. For when ever two Christians meet, and talk of God, Jesus is there.

Strange that I can erect a church for two or three in someone's waiting room, or in the aisles of a grocery store, and can't do so in a separate place.

This is sad, so infinitely sad. Yet I cannot weep anymore. I have grieved enough. I cannot change anything of myself. Instead, I am learning to turn my eyes away from what I cannot do anything about.

But sometimes, in the night, when I talk to God, I grieve for Him, because I feel His pain. He doesn't want to send Jesus to us yet. He wants us to gather more souls first, but since it is our choice, He must watch us in grief and growing anger, do all that is ill until we reach critical mass.

I cannot go as a missionary, so I send others.

But who goes to the American Churches?

Yet oddly, for the time being, America is the last bastion of what I call Open Christianity.

It's not illegal yet anywhere in the U.S. to preach Roman's 1:19-32, although there are legal cases pending, and blessedly, one already won by the defendant against an atheist who doesn't want anyone telling him what he is doing is wrong.

If I went to a church here in America would I hear the following preached?

[color=993300]KJV Romans 1: 19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.[/color]

Is this not our world?

Yet what pastor or preacher speaks of them?

And, even among the righteous, who is willing to hear them?

We purposely turn a blind eye to what we cannot change, and send our money abroad that there might be some souls won for Christ.

Giving alms for a day to a Mission for the homeless in California can support whole families in Asia for a month, and for a week or more in South America.

I refuse to be ashamed of God's bounty to me, for I don't know why he has given it to me. So I give what I can to others, and buy less and less for pleasure these days, because I already have too much. And I am one counted amongst the poor in America.

I have been the Widow with Two Mites, but my family rescued me. What of those that have no family? They should do, but will not do until forced by disaster, what is written here:

[color=993300]KJV Timothy 5:2. The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
3. Honour widows that are widows indeed.
4. But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
5. Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
6. But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
7. And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
8. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9. Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man.
10. Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
11. But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
12. Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
13. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
14. I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
15. For some are already turned aside after Satan.
[b] 16. If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.[/b][/color]

Soon, many will need to remember older, kinder ways, and huddle together against the storm, for though America is wealthy beyond dreams, there are other countries with much wealth that think only of killing, conquering, and taking over from even the wretched in this land.

See, the storm clouds gather in the east, as prophesied. And from the east will come the Tribulation, and the Anti-Christ, and that is not far away in time. Soon really means soon now.

I am persuaded that I will see Jesus coming in Glory before I die, if I die at all, for I have the Hope of the Rapture.

[color=993300]KJV 1 Thessalonians 7. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
8. He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
9. But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10. And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
11. And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12. That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
13. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.[/color]

Do I know how the end will play out? No.

But seeing what we can see, and knowing what we can know, I turn my fear, and anxiety, and grief over to God, and comfort myself, that no matter what, God will be there for me, and all my brothers and sisters.

Yes, I may end up in jail someday, for I will not submit to censure. Perhaps it will be worse for others, those living closer to some that live for the sword in their religion, even here in America.

I could lose my comfortable way of life, my property, my belongingss, which mostly these days consist of books bought from 2nd hand stores, and tapes upon tapes of good teaching from as long as 20 years ago, my Tivo and my computer.

Loss of electricity alone will bring people in violence to my door for water, because I have a clear, clean well, and a generator, and gasoline to run that well, for a time. So I have guns, and a dog, and extra people living nearby me to guard our reasonably isolated mountain hide-a-away in California. No, not to kill to keep what I have, but to maintain order as I share until God sends relief.

Does this mean I will sit in my house of pain and sadness without disturbance until Jesus returns, whether it be in the Rapture, as I hold, or at the end, which will come soon? It would be nice to think so, but the older I get, the less able I am to fight against the 'world' except by prayer.

Even if I am undisturbed, because America is still strong, and American's naturally feisty, I can't help getting older, and the world doesn't want to look at what it has become.

This is why we have itching ears in the churches, and because their Pastors pander to them out of fear for their own living, there are few churches that are Godly, or who preach Godliness.

And they dare not preach change, for then they are into politics, and will lose their tax-deductible status, and lose their living anyway.

Most of those that give, give in guilt and peer pressure when the collection plate comes around.

I hope I am not pessimistic, but merely realistic. I see no revival coming in America until Christ comes back, and rules with a rod of iron. Most churches here are dead, not even Laodicean.

Yes, there are good churches everywhere. But not enough. Not enough.

I don't fear for myself, but I fear for the rest of the world. I am mentally prepared for any disaster, and am beginning to gather food and medicine against a time of disaster, when supplies will run low. Yet, since I will share what I have, even if all is not forcibly taken from me, I shrug my shoulders at the future.

I fear for America, for her destruction will resemble that of Babylon.

Even so, I pray, and continue to pray, that God will work His Will on a country that used to be the envy of the world, and to those who do not live here, still is.

Yes, Yes, even so, Lord, come quickly!

Blessings,
