maybe i am just spoiled but i really really love the bible mp3s from familyradio.com. the guy who reads it reads it with such pathos- that when God is angry his inflection and tone, carries that out without being any dramatic, or even when there is such a sad part, the same too....try him.....it's at familyradio.com. the original recordings were made long long time ago- i believe somewhere in the 70s if i am not mistaken. the reader's name is Henry Van Dyke. What is so beautiful is when there is really an angushing part or a strong part or a beautiful part, Dr. Van Dyke b/n chapters would stop and say something, "Psalm 51, the chapter which God's servant pours out his soul before our Father for the sins he commited"
