I humbly ask for prayer

P

Dear SI brothers and sisters,

In late July of 2006 I was diagnosed with cancer in both kidneys and had surgery on left kidney
9/6/06 which was benign. I had surgery on the right kidney 9/28/06 preliminary result benign
final, cancer. They said they removed all.
I had my six month scan 4/4/07 today they called
with results.
Nodule on Liver. Please pray that the Lord would
simply cause it to disappear, He is more than able. I know this sounds a bit selfish, but I really don't want any more surgery, this old body is sore enough already. :-?
Thank You and God Bless You All.

I have prayed.

May the Lord be glorified through this trial in your life. I pray that through this He will give you many opportunities to witness to others of His mighty healing power. He is our Jehovah Rophe (the God who heals)!

I know this sounds a bit selfish
It doesn't sound selfish, it sounds honest.Gen 32:11 Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I FEAR him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. Look here, honesty in prayer preceded change in Jacobs character, physical body, deliverence from Esau by God causing his enemy to be at piece with him, and soooo much more. I could go on and on. But look at this promise from God's word;
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jer 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

I left out vs 13 because the Lord said you are already doing that verse. Read out loud and listen to God's words to you. I also will pray for you, but the Lord is hearing you, listen to His reply, He loves you.

Sean, Joy, dohzman, Brian, Here4Him, and Goldminer:

I would like to thank each one of you for your prayers, and all who have prayed and not responded to the thread. I will see the doctor on Friday afternoon to receive the full report, and plan of action. Healed is acceptable to me.
Dohzman, thanks for the scripture as it lifted my spirit and set my heart upon proper footing. Have preached on this scripture quite a few times over the years and it was good of you to point me to it, just what I needed.

Proverbs 15:29
The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
Thank You Everyone

Lord’s Blessings to all,

My Brother,

I know how hard it can be to live with cancer,(my mother died of it) and you may be sure that, if the Lord is willing, and you are willing, you will be healed.

Praying for you, dear Brother,

Hello Pastorfrin,
I too will join with the saints and pray for your healing from cancer. When your in prayer next "see" yourself before Jesus and look into His eyes and ask Him "Can you please heal me from this cancer?" and He will say "Can I? Everything is possible for him who believes" and you answer "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"and He will rebuke this evil spirit saying "I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!" (Mark 9 21-25)
Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever so this same Jesus who healed the boy in the Book of Mark will heal you too. Amen. Lissa

Sometimes I think that there is so much pain in the body of Christ that we Christians might learn to love to pray for others, for the peace it gives us, knowing that God is faithful.

Still praying,

Forrest
