My dear brothers and sister may we love to pray.
May God's word move our hearts to action.
May God awaken our Hearts to love to pray even more.
" cry aloud; do not hold back lift up your voice like a trumpet"
Ps 116:1
" I love the LORD because he hears my voice
and my prayer for mercy. because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!
what do you think it means
I will pray as long as I have breath?
" And so I walk in the LORD's presence as I live here on earth!"
Joel 1:14-15
"Declare a holy fast;
call a sacred assembly.
Summon the elders
and all who live in the land
to the house of the LORD your God,
and cry out to the LORD.
Are we not call a sacred assembly, He is calling us together to pray and cry out.
15 Alas for that day!
For the day of the LORD is near;
it will come like destruction from the Almighty. "
joel 2:12-13
"12 "Even now," declares the LORD,
"return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning."
13 Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity."
Praise God! But may we return to me with all our heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning
May God give us feeling! That we will weep! May He moves in our hearts that we fall on our knees
I was with my friend the other day praying, when it hit me, we weep so little over huge things! I ask God to help me to see things with His eyes.
How can we weep, if don't see it as He does?
Isaiah 56:7
"these I will bring to my holy mountain
and give them joy in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called
a house of prayer for all nations."
