Brother Yun speaking in Springdale, AR

sermonindex Apr 24, 2007

For those interested in hearing Brother Yun, who is known as the 'Heavenly Man', he is speaking at First Baptist Church in Springdale, AR on May 6th.
He is speaking at the 9:15am and 10:55am services, at 6:15pm there will be a Q & A session.
Here is the church's website.

Having read brother Yun's testimony I think it will be very interesting to hear him speak.

Does anyone know how to find his schedule? We heard about this meeting by word of mouth.

Try contacting Paul Hattaway (Asia Harvest) for information about Brother Yun or try to contact Brother Yun directly through Back to Jerusalem.

Thanks for the info! I may try to venture over there. :-D

EDIT: I didn't see anything on FBC Springdale's website. Am I missing it?

Thanks.

Has anyone heard anything else about this? I don't doubt you, Joy, it's just interesting that it isn't on their website. I would like to go, but I want to make sure that he is going to be there. I'm just wondering because I would hate to skip one of our services to attend one of theirs if he isn't going to be there.

EDIT: I don't mean to make that sound like I'm against that church or anything. It may not seem like it from my post, but I just wanted to make sure that it didn't come out that way. As that church has become larger and larger there just has been more and more a difference in my line of reasoning and theirs. That's all.

We called them to find out the details. I would recommend doing that.

Which service will you go to?

Hmmmm... I'm not sure yet. Are there some from your fellowship going? Thanks for the details by the way...

There's a good possibility quite a few of us will be there. Being small does have the advantage of flexibility with service times. :-) I think we would go to the second morning service...but that's not definate.

I'm not sure which one I will go to. If you don't mind, let me know when you know which one you all are going to. I would love to meet up with you all. Are you spending the whole day so you can go to the evening service?

I'll pm you when we have finalized the details. I would love to stick around and go to the Q and A session in the evening. We'll see.

Ah, one's at Springdale and the other at Pinnacle Hills. I plan on going to the one at Springdale.

Hmm, I think we were planning on the Pinnacle Hills since it is the later service and we have quite a drive.

I was able to go to this. I enjoyed hearing Bro Yun speak.

He preached about "Rivers of living water."

One thing he said stuck with me. It was something to this effect.

"Many pastors today are serving their congregation lukewarm water and it's giving them diarrhea."

:-o :-? :-)

Well, you cannot say preachers do not have a sense of humor! BTW: I love this quote. It is so funny people should have no problem remembering it. :-)
