Daddy come home!

Daddy come home and bring your belt with you!this is my cry for revival.you see many of our churches are like disfunctional homes where the kids are in charge.the Father has quietly with drawn and the kids love it that way because they can do what they want when they want.He wants to come home but the truth is there's no room for Him. we're sitting in His chair! we're so buisy doing our own thing many haven't even noticed He's gone. we can eat hotdogs and chips for breakfast lunch and dinner stay out late with our freinds and mom bless her heart is so easy to manipulate. but there is a cry begaining to come from my heart "Daddy come home!" i'm tired of having my way. i want You! Father forgive us for taking you for granted. this house is empty without you! we want you Father, belt and all. let's make room for Him . nothing less than the best seat in the house will do. nothing less than our first love is enough for Him. He's worth it!stay hungryone

whoah--That is intense. There is a place where we get where God is a provider and not much more, may we now more than ever give our Father His seat at the head of the table and not eat until He says, not be excused unless He says so, and may we sit at His feet as He talks to us and we to Him.Truly... Daddy come home!!!It reminds me of my home life. I'm 18 and my mom has relied on me since I was 7 (no dad) I have 3 siblings, 12, 14, 17. Now I'm growing up and I, sadly, have forgotten my mom's authority. She buys stuff and provides and cares for us, yet we do as we please and she quietly withdraws. What a powerful rebuke to my behavior, and a powerful and personal analogy as to how I relate to God.

One,I read your post earlier and I hear your heart. It sounds so much like mine and others who are having a revival within their very own hearts. It's funny as I was reading this I thought about how others would perceive what you wrote. Many will not understand or "get it" and think you are too negative- yet others who are being placed into the church body that Christ himself is building- will understand perfectly well- for they are in unity with you.Be glad that you feel this open to express yourself this way. People need to see other's transparency (wearing your heart on your sleeve) as Paul did. It's nice to see a real heart underneath a Christian's "religious" self. :-) Satisfied in Him alone, Chanin

and I will be a god to you Gen 17:7When people have finished treating Him as combination of Santa Claus and Mary Poppins this promise will still remain. We have lived our lives in a generation when God has become a dispensing machine, but those who pray this prayer will know its answer.

my goodness- this is so powerful, especially in a generation that is basically fatherless. and i agree that there is a definate cry going out... a cry for Daddy to come and heal and restore, both from His kids and those who don't know they're His kids yet. God, hear your children and please come!!!!

I've met girls, women, who had sugar daddies, and the mentality of those women (gimme gimme because I deserve it for no reason), is the same as many followers of the prosperity teachings.
