THIS IS FUN!

'This is fun!', my nearly 12 year old son said.

What were we doing?

Watching t.v?

No.

Playing a game?

No.

Eating out?

No. None of the above.

We were doing a Bible study!

He shocked me. I thought, how often do you hear a child say that.

He's no spiritual giant, just a normal boy, by anyone's standard.

But, if we are not feeding our children a good diet of the word of God, then we must be feeding them on the world.

And if that is what they get, then what do we feed ourselves on?

All we can do is obey the word of God and train up our children God's way.

God is faithful to His word, and says when the child is old, he won't depart from the path we have set him on.

God bless.

Indeed, this is fun to see your kids excited about God's word.

Speaking of fun, one thing that I have found that my kids enjoy very much is playing Bible trivia. I will ask questions on the Bible such as "what is the fruit of the Spirit?", and they shout out the answers. The cool thing is that they come to me asking to play it. It's a great way to review the Scriptures you've been studying.

In Christ,

Ron

My younger brothers and sisters love to go out and pass out tracts when we go out to street preach and witness. i've often heard them say that it is more fun than board games, and other stuff like that... :-D PtL!!

Praise God. May we all establish family altars in our homes and have times of family worship and bible reading EVERY night!

Here is a great resource for those who desire to raise a godly home (which I hope is everyone that professes the name of Christ):

While we know we should teach our children the things of God, many parents, sadly, leave it up to the church.

They suppose somehow the children will 'just pick it up as they go along', rather than training them and being the example they should be to their offspring.

Parents are responsible for their own children, not the church.

So let's please God by obeying Him.

God bless.
