Prayer request for young child

Dear friends,

I recieved an e-mail recently about a ten year old boy named Tyler who was attacked with a knife why playing outside near his grandfather's house. He is expected to recover but I wanted to ask for prayer on his behalf. From what I read in the e-mail the attack was random and the attacker, though in custody, has not revealed his reasons for doing this.

I can imagine how tramatic something like this would be for him.

I will be praying for Tyler, that he might recover in all ways.

Only ten, and already the devil must make his mark though the actions of a crazed or possessed man.

Oh the sadness in our sorry world, and knowing it will get far worse, even before the Anti-Christ arrives.

Oh, yes, I will pray, as I do for Sean's friend Jeremiah, and for Christian's daughter Jasmine.

I pray that for Tyler, that God will focus on soothing and comforting him as he heals, that he forgets his fear, and that he will be able to forgive.

This is why I can't watch the news anymore - it hurts too much to see all the pain.

Oh, Jesus, please come quickly.

The story was sent to me in an e-mail from a relative. As I recall, it was from one of the local papers, perhaps an on-line version. So I do not know much else about it. If I come across anything I will try to let you know.

May this boy have forgivness, within in his heart. May he learn the bitter sweetness of trails. May God use this for good, to grow him to be a mighty man of God.
