i am supposed to help teach about following and serving with a youth class. im a little confused. one day i will teach following and the next i will teach serving.
im confused with them though. i kinda feel like following can be the same as serving. can i have some examples of how serving is different than following. i wanted to share how not loving people will not let us be part of a big plan god has for each of us becuse we are limiting god and about getting in fights and such and show how jesus didnt say anything when people cursed him and tel about what it means to follow god. but i dont know what to do with the whole serving part. I know part of it is preaching the gospel. thats the most important because everything we do should somehow preach the gospel although we need to find ways to always preach it verbally when we can, but i wanted to talk for about 30 minutes on serving and i wanted to share other things about serving but im not to sure. maybe its cus i dont serve enough myself. my family and i are going to mexico to have a bible study with the kids in a villiage. im sure i can give an example about that for serving. but i dont know what else. basically maybe someone can give me many examples of ways to serve that would be convicting and helpful to help with the class. thank you. and maybe you can give some good places for following god and serving god
