Romans 4:2

"Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?"

I just read it this morning. God's love meets the repentance. They are connected! The context of the passage is that the Romans are unrepentant and judgemental. They don't see what greatness there is in repenting.

Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts about this verse or the passages surrounding it?

I messed up on the chapter and verse. *slaps head* It is Romans 2:4. This thread will make some more sense now, I hope.
