THE ROYAL SEAL
2 Tim 2:19
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Many of us wear the cross and fish symbols around our necks, on our fingers,
And on our cars, as a testifying outward appearance of our true devotion to our Lord.
But lets take this a step further.
Its not just a cross, fish, or statement to the world of our faith.
It’s the Royal Seal upon us. It is a marking of the Lord on our lives.
His seal covers us.
The Cross is the seal of Jesus upon our lives.
The fish represents our function in the body of Christ. We are Fishers of men.
If we wear a ring upon our finger on our wedding finger, we are telling the world
That He is our husband. And He is.
We are married to Him. We are married to His ways, His life, His desires.
It’s a ROYAL Seal.
We belong to Royalty. Father God, is our King. Jesus, is our King.
They rule and reign together. But are separate in that they do things a bit differently.
Father God, is the firm hand. Jesus is more of a gentle hand with His Children, and
deals punishment out with mercy, although both can change that part of the way they do that, Father God is the one that hands out the punishment.
You don’t want to be on the receiving hand of Gods punishment. You don’t want to feel conviction coming from Jesus, especially if He has to do it more than once! its better to be obedient.
Jesus will rule with an iron rod during the 1000 year reign and Father and Son will rule together with a rod of iron at the New Jerusalem and the temple will be the Father and the Son…….….why not obey now, and do what God says we should do? Why provoke the SON? OR The FATHER!
Ps 2:7-12
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Rev 2:27
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Rev 12:5
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 19:15,16
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Its even more than that. His blood runs in our veins. We are bonded. We are one.
So that means we are to show His nature in all we do, every day! He will help us if we are willing to change. Are you willing to change? Just remember who’s you are!
1 Peter 2:9
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
We are marked with the ROYAL SEAL!
Give God the Honor and Glory today!!!!
Be Blessed in Him!
Royally sealed by my Father
