Commentaries on Genesis?

I was wondering if anybody out there can recommend a good commentary on Genesis?

I haven't read it myself but I have heard from reliable sources that Henry Morris' commentary on Genesis titled [i]The Genesis Record[/i], is very good. It's somewhere around 700 pages and leaves few stones unturned. I plan on reading it myself some day, have to get through the pile of unread books I already have though.:-o

I have enjoyed "Genesis -Devotional Exposition" by Donald Grey Barnhouse, copyrighted 1970. This is more of a devotional - incorporating lessons one learns from history.

Today, I rarely use commentaries since I was taught the inductive method of Bible study. Are you familar with this method of Bibe Study? Might be worth your time to check it out.

Yes, I'm familiar with the inductive method of Bible study. However, I still like to access the better commentaries from time to time to aid my own studies.

The Genesis Record by Henry Morris is awesome! He does a great job explaining things in terms that people can understand. I love reading it.
