I remember a while ago, someone asked me " How do you walk in the Spirit?" After thinking for a while it occurred to me that the only way I could think to answer was to tell them to obey their conscience. Here are the references I found in the concordance for conscience. Here is the link to it if you don't already have a online concordance. Of course reading the word of God and meditating on the truth is the way to inform our conscience. I believe the Holy Spirit is the still small voice that shows us and reveals what we need to see, that without seeing we cannot do the will of God. The Holy Spirit is the eyes of the soul, so to speak." Heb4:12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Jesus told us that if we were not born again [of His Spirit] that we could not see the kingdom of heaven.
In James 1: 23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
The Holy Spirit leads us by the word of God and to walk in the light we need to know that word.
