I need some advice.
I just started going to a new church,
and the first thing the pastor said before his message was quote..
Our attitude is more important than our doctrine. end of quote.
Im not sure what he is trying to say.
Its a red flag to me.

Doctrine is very important in a Church, more then just how we act. Because our doctrine affects our actions. So if he is saying our attitude is more important than doctrine, they are going what they think is best. In what they do? What attitudes he saying is important?
What are they baseing their action on?
I would pray about this. maybe you can write out some questions and ask the pastor. But if they
are strong doctrine in some way or other, I would get out.

He could be saying that as long as we are loving and caring, doctrine is not really important.
Or he could be saying you can have 100% iron clad correct doctrine, but if your heart is black, it doesnt do you any good.
I would agree with the second thought.
I think you should ask the pastor what he meant by that. You visited one time, and there may be some history there that you're not aware of.
But if he doesnt emphasize correct Biblical doctrine... keep looking.
Be sure you clarify what he meant before you write him off.

you guys are right, I'll humbly ask for some clarification, there could be alot of past history going on there.
