Sometimes I close the SI tab or even switch off the computer; and when logging on or switching on again it comes up as if I'm still logged in.
Is there a possible security issue when that happens?

My computer does the same thing... it leaves me logged on until I clear my cookies in internet explorer. This actually works out good for me since I am the only one who uses this computer, I dont have to log back in every day.

As with some other sites, it seems you will need to use the logout link/function along the left side in order to force the system to log you out. However, I find this to be an advantage, since I don't want to log in every time.
