Dear brothers and sisters,
In this hour when Art is so close to being forever with the Lord, I ask myself whether I could face death in the face so boldly and irrevocably, with a head lifted up, in blessed anticipation. The totality of relinquishing everything for Christ's sake, even my very life, pulls my face to look down and back toward the ground below. For Art was crucified with Christ a long time ago, and he no longer lived. Even though he may die, he shall live. But I, deep within me, am still afraid of dying, and of living. Can he who has entered into the resurrection life ever look back, or fear going to see his Lord? And he who has not yet died, how can he live?
This is what has going through my mind yet another time, after being so challenged by one of Art's messages last night, and called--almost yelled at--to walk with Christ in the newness of life, without giving a thought or shiver, NOW. Every word from that message pierced my soul; the words were Spirit and life. Without saying more, I would like to share this sermon with you, and thank my God that He has allowed something so holy to touch me.
Unworthy,
Slavyan
