Who was Christ sent to and who was He speaking to?
The house of Israel. What was Christ preaching?
The perfection of the Law that no one could keep but Him.
Christ's teaching is Law. Paul's teaching 15 years after The Cross, is pure Grace by Faith, Not faith by works, the only Faith being able to save us is the Faith Christ.
Galatians 2:14-19 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be ((((justified by the faith of Christ,)))) and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
A transgressor with an Advocate with the Father for forgiveness, and the promise of righteousness cleansing by God through the Advocate Jesus Christ.
The law doing of the soul mind must be separated from the Spirit of Christ's wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.
Hbr 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
What is the Word of God and Who? 1 John 1: 1-4
1 Corinthians 1:29-31 That no flesh should glory in His (Christs) presence. But of Him (GOD) are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
