Art Katz

I seem to have missed something...

during my time here on SI i've heard a lot about Art Katz, but haven't heard much by him. I listened to "And they Crucified Him" which was a featured sermon a while back, and a few clips on compilations and such, which i greatly appreciated. could anyone recommend some sermons that would be good to start with, something that really captures this mans heart for God. anybody?

Having listened to this recently, it touches on alot of the main themes of Art's ministry. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, try wading into the "2006 Prophetic School" series (23 parts long, found on the first two pages of his downloads).

I also echo Kire's recommendation to read [url=http://www.benisrael.org/writings/online_books/apostolic_foundations/af_contents.html]Apostolic Foundations[/url] and even [url=http://www.benisrael.org/writings/online_books/spirit_of_truth/sot_contents.html]The Spirit of Truth[/url].

Here's a couple of sermons he preached on the same day to one congragation that capture just a bit of what Art was all about. I think one word to describe his preaching would be "challenging". When I think of Art I think of Elijah on Mount Carmel asking, "How long halt ye between two opinions?" His sermons force you to make decisions.
