The Voice of the Lord

B
BrokenOne Jul 6, 2007

Psalm 29
By: The LORD God through David

Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name;
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The LORD is over many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars,
Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, "Glory!"

The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.
The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.

Praise the Lord.

"Nations will bow before You; Peoples and tongues will adore You, singing; Glory, glory, glory to the LORD!" -- quoted from a song called, "Battle Song" that can be heard at:

Danielle, we're commanded to forsake not the fellowshipping of ourselves together and even more so as we see that day approaching.

I'm in tears right now. I have a Church, but they're in and out after the service is over, so I come here to REALLY fellowship.

I love this place and find I grow more here than anywhere.

I know the Lord's Voice and it speaks through you and others here.
I depend on some of you whether you notice it or not.
I'm not an island, I need people to speak from Him to me.

My quiet times are refreshing but I also know the importance of His Body. The arm can't say to the arm I don't need you.

We are ONE BODY, not several, despite our differences. I "feel" that very deeply here and at Church or whenever with a Christian anywhere.

When we split over minor doctrinal issues I hurt inside more than I can bare.
But no one knows that except some few very sensitive sisters and brothers.

When I'm hurting most over this, that is when the enemy comes in like a flood. He knows that's where I'm weakest. I hate division and whatever bothers me affects me physically also, because my immune system is almost non-existant.

I want to thank you and those other ladies and men that post on Devotions because as I said already some days ago ... I can come to this quiet place here and just soak in what He is sharing with you all.

Thank you Broken one.
LORD Richly Bless you.
Annie

Edit: posted on wrong thread.

Ha, sad tears and unexpected happy excitement don't mix too cognitively well. Ha.

Reply on Ps 133 thread. I posted this then looked where did my post go on 133 ? Ha, so posted it again there.

Praise GOD for unexpected blessings that come out of nowhere.

Thank you!
