Seek the Lord and Find Rest
2 Chronicles 15:16
Asa … had just won a great victory, and was returning with his triumphant army to Jerusalem, when there met him a prophet … who poured out fiery words, exhorting Asa and his people to cleave to God and to cast away their idols. Asa, encouraged by the prophetic words of this bold speaker for God,… made a clean sweep of the idols, and gathered the sadly-dwindled nation together in Jerusalem, where they renewed the covenant with the Lord God of their fathers. The text sums up their work and result. “They sought Him with their whole heart, and He was found of them; and the Lord gave them rest round about.”…
That turning of mind, will, and affection towards God must be ours if we are to be among those wise and happy seekers who are sure to find that which—or rather Him whom—they seek and to rest in Him whom they find.… We seek that which we know and which we may be assured of finding. Therefore there need be no tremors of uncertainty in our quest.… To seek Him with the whole heart is to engage the whole self in the quest, and that is the only kind of seeking which has the certainty of success.

Brother, I was about to go to sleep last nite and I blasted out of my bed and headed for the computer to look up some verses.

I'm not sure if this is the whole of what we're feeling, but what I got was Matt 13 plus others. Here are the verses.

Mat 13:24 -30 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

And Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

And Rev 22:11, 12 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Brother, what I'm seeing in all of these threads on different Forums & Sites and in the Churches is the wheat and the tares. The tares Hate the wheat and watch them with envy and mischief. They despise the offering of Abel and seek to kill their brother like Cain did.

Please see that I don't mean this as any "elitist" type talk ... because as we both have posted ... God takes no pleasure in the fall of anyone and seeks that All would come to Him in truth/love.

Those who do not depend on their 'mentality or intellect' - but with child-like dependence, receive the true fruit or give the sincere/appropriate offering of Rom 12, are being watched and enviously, by those who's own offering of the flesh (intellect) is not acceptable unto the Father - their conscience baring witness to them, that the fruit of the righteous is not from flesh and blood/human intellect.

They are the Un-wise virgins who ask the wise virgins to share their oil. Or as Esau received from Jacob, "just one meal", but not the Blessing he would have, had he gotten his own meals. Getting a 'meal' takes "work" and most do not want that hard way, the narrow way ... the broadway walk of using 'mind' is so much easier and self-glorifying.

Have you had people to come to you and you've felt or had folks saying "I want what you have - share it with me." ? Or just the complete opposite ?

It's like they 'know' they are not receiving wisdom from The Father, because they know 'how' they live the rest of their lives outside of fellowship times. Yet they want a share in things as you do or to deride.

Robertson's says of the Greek in Rev 22:11 that ... ""The language is probably ironical, with a reminder of Dan_12:10, in no sense a commendation of their lost estate. Charles rejects this verse as not like John. It is the hopelessness of the final state of the wicked which is here pictured. So as to "Let him be made filthy still" (rupanthe¯to¯ eti). The states of both the evil and the good are now fixed forever. There is no word here about a "second chance" hereafter.""

It's like there comes a point in time in these last days, where those who are wicked are solidified in it and those who are sealed are doubly sealed {in essense - as it says, "IF" it were possible even the Elect would be deceived."} in those days. Do you see what I'm seeing here ? This is scarey.

I wonder if that strick division of the sheep from the goats and tares from wheat and filthy from righteous is cast already ?

Those who walk in dependence on the spirit are like Abel and those who walk after their own minds or ego-appetites are like Cain.

Accusing those who walk in dependence as a child on The Holy Spirit of being "arrogant" ?

They say that tares look like wheat and only the moving of the wind (the Spirit) makes the difference apparent. The wheat sways with the direction of the 'wind' but the tares are rigid and don't.
In the parable, they want to remove these tares, but are told not to. "let them grow together", so that we don't pull up wheat with the tares.

In Churches or on the forums or websites, we can spot tares sometimes, but if we try to pluck them out - some of the wheat will be offended and leave with the tares.

I 'think' we've come to the point that The Elect are shining more because it is getting darker and the tares know that in their personal life that they are not walking in the fulness of Christ's Spirit nor have the witness in their spirits that they are secure.

If the Elect are sealed - then those who are not, will turn on the Elect and that is what I feel is a major part of the "something horrible".

Jesus said, they will turn against us to the death of us. That is enough to make our spirits Grieve the loss of people we've known or talked to and the gravity of their damnation. "I never knew you." What a severely grievious thing.
My spirit is grieving and trembling just in typing this. Reverential fear is necessary!

Jesus said, "Few" there be that find it. And that "most" will fall away because of a lack of His Love and Love for Truth.
That's why I post T.A. Sparks, "Truth in the Inward Parts" so often, because even just one small little lie can cause a 'habit' of lying and thus, cause a person to become apostate.

If we're living in the time of the great Apostasy and God is sending "the strong (effectual) delusion, then we are already living in dangerous times in the Church. Yet, we must by commandment love & tolerate the tares & all people until the end.

If we have a deep love for souls ... this is very grievious, to see those who are already fallen away and asking us for more oil to "make it through onto the end".

This whole thing is very grievious and maybe what we felt - is GOD giving them over to believe the lie ....
2Th 2:10 - 12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a {the} lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

In context of that chapter "the" lie is the verses preceding these, about the anti-Christ. So that means they have an anti-Christ spirit, in that they want to enter in through the broad way or not by the Spirit, but by the flesh. So they will hate those who have Christ truly in and operating through them ... the jealousy of Cain.

The difference between the letter of the law {the legalists or Pharisees} and the spirit of the law. One strives against the other. That's been the same old warfare from the beginning .... God's way or 'our' way.

I fear because the folks that I've invested the most in, are just not seeing this. That they cannot depend on their intellects, but must be led & operating in the Spirit. If I point that out, one too many times, it angers some.

My fear is that we've come to that day when God has pronounced this verse in Rev 22 and 2 Thess. 2 on the people because they have received 'so much' and yet have not laid down their own 'self' to take up His cross and obtain all truth from Him. They prefer to use their own minds and become puffed up and Cast Off.

Do you feel any of this may be the case in our "uneasiness" ? If any of this is true, then we are definitely walking in the midst of much "uneasiness".

If the anti-Christ will soon be revealed - then this is true according to 2 Thess 2:10-12.

Extremely grievious. And our spirits would be picking up on this and will or should be grieving. I 'saw' those who thought they were saved thrown into hell. If that grieves God, than it should grieve us.

To know that people you are talking to are not saved, as you're speaking to them, is way beyond grievious.

We all may need to ask for that second touch as the blind man did, when he only saw men as trees walking.

There is nothing wrong with confidence in one's salvation but yet, there is ample Scripture crying out to be read of our need to make our salvation sure. To humble "ourselves", to "work out with fear & trembling" and "if the Righteous are Scarcely" saved ..... etc. etc. etc..

Praying for discernment for us all. I can see where those who agree are joining into at the least, three different ranks ... both in Churches and the forums, etc.. Basically as has always been the case, those under the law {by the flesh or legalism} and those who abuse Grace {easy-believism} and the Whole-council-of-God ones.

If we can't or shouldn't pull up/out tares, then we must go on speaking truth to them, yet the 5 wise virgins told the others to go and get their own oil. Finding the balance in HIS love only. His love can be soft to the touch or chastisement.

Lord help us to stay under His humbling Hand and with much fasting and prayer. These 'are' Perilous times.

Lord 'keep' us.

Joe 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
Joe 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
Joe 2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Hi Annie,

Wow this is much to digest, but I see where you are at and yes this is definitely at least part of the uneasiness.
We must look at this as Paul and realize that:
Philip. 1:15
Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

What some do cannot be allowed to affect or interfere with what the Lord has called us to do, but as Paul we must approach it with a proper heart condition:
Ephes. 3:8
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
2 Cor. 4:5
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

If we begin to think we are above any than we fall into the snare of envy and strife, and become useless to the Lord; therefore, we must:

Col. 1:28
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

2 Tim. 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Sister we have this hope that after all is done, our Lord puts forth that extra grace and proclaims:

Rev. 14:6-7
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, [7] Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Will those who hold fast suffer by the hands of those who do not? Yes
Matthew 10:17-22
But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; [18] And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. [19] But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. [20] For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. [21] And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. [22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mark 13:19-23
For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. [20] And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. [21] And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: [22] For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. [23] But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Will the majority of man perish? Yes
Matthew 7:13-14
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is all very grievous and should cause all of us to put our shoulder to the plow and work while it is still day, the light will soon be gone.
We must not become discouraged looking at the darkness approaching, but as Paul instructed Timothy we need to earnestly:
2 Tim. 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Annie, I said at the beginning of this post that this is part of the uneasiness; I have this foreboding sense that something will soon happen, which will take many lives. I do not know how, only that it will be soon, and that is the grievous part, for how many will go into eternity not knowing Christ.
We must be listening for instruction from the Holy Spirit He will show us what is to come. The Lord has and I believe is interceding for us as He prayed in John 17:

John 17:13-23
And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. [14] I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. [15] I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. [16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. [17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. [18] As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. [19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. [20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; [21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. [22] And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: [23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Let us hold fast to this prayer, and by faith in Him, and being sanctified through the Word, we will be kept from the evil.

"Lord 'keep' us, Amen

Hi Brother.

I've posted on many threads over these last two years that we are going to be attacked and by whom and why, but now folks are starting to get that in their spirits also ... and that is good. Very good.

Pastor, if you see the point of what I was trying to express that hit me last nite and has been my heart's passion, is not to just alarm folks with coming doom ... which I do and have known is coming .... but that to warn that we may not all be ready to lose our lives in 'any' way or fashion.

If we don't grasp what real Salvation is now, as in the example of the three divisions I gave up there, then we're going to wake up where we don't want to wake up, when our day comes.

I felt that warning I posted above goes hand in hand with the other word of the attack on the US .... hand in hand .... wouldn't want one without the other or can't have one without the other. Sort of like two arms on the same Body.

And then once we are hit or attacked, it's those who are not killed also that my post is also speaking to, because after the hit, then comes the deception of 2 Thess 2.

If we begin to think we are above any than we fall into the snare of envy and strife, and become useless to the Lord

Brother, this goes without saying and I think I've stressed this enough in that post above and the "whys" of all of this "envy & strife", that was extremely hard to post. It took me almost 12 hours to get up the courage. I've never hesitated more on any post since here.

My burden is for souls. I can't just say, "will many perish, Yes"

I can't just say we're going to be nuked and then after that the anti-Christ will bring Peace and not warn folks of what's going on in this church we're supposed to be a part of and what may keep anyone of us out of it.
My sweat last nite was for people.

The LORD always gave three sides to a warning.
The why, the what and instructions for His people.

Your initial post on Something Horrible was the 'what' ... both our burdens are "whys", and last nite I felt the warings of instructions of how we can avoid it being an "eternal" problem.

Thank you for your words.

Love you in Christ.
Always.

Thank you for these. So vital. True Biblical Love is the key for all true life in God yesterday and forever. It Holds our very faith together to it's very foundation.

Jesus added himself a tare of the twelve Apostles to Love, a vital example to follow.

I think about this sometimes: If an usher is known to be taking money from the offering plate behind the scenes in today's church, he is quickly moved from that position. Yet Christ knowing Judas did the same, did not. ? I wonder why,..~~? Maybe it placed him in position to face the temptation that needed to be dealt with in his life. One thing is certain. Yet Christ knowing Judas taking money from the offering, did not remove him from his position.

I have been thinking a lot about this thread and the one tinluke wrote about her 10 YO sharing.

Brother, I have asked other people if they also have this foreboding about something bad happening. And everyone I asked said "yes". I asked a wide variety of people from different churches, places. When I asked them to describe what they are sensing, they were at a loss to explain it. I, too, have sensed it for a while. Then I had a dream the other night. My dreams usually are not remembered upon waking and I do not put much stock in dreams but this one was so vivid.

I dreamed a military vehicle came roaring from the east, stopped right in front of our house, turned so it would block all traffic. It was joined soon by another one. I was perplexed about what to do. My DH was at the GHs, five miles down the road and I was worried about him: can he get home? I got to thinking about how I can find him and join him so I would not be alone...

Upon waking and thinking about this, I decided the primary message of it should be that we should set in place a plan of possible action when and if something similar should ever happen. After I awoke and got to thinking some more, I found it interesting that the idea to use my cell phone to locate my DH never entered into my thoughts as a possible way of contacting him.

Pastor, I also believe we need to prepare and for what I do not know. In the preparation we need to learn to listen to the voice of the Spirit now and act in obedience now. Humbling, is it not?

Thanks for the post, pastor.

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. My burden is also for souls and if it is not then I am useless to the Lord. I realize you have put your whole heart into this and that is good, I know you are sincere and your love is without question.

When I was a young pastor, one of the hardest things I had to deal with, was when I discovered that a large part of my congregation did not love the Lord with all their heart, and did not really want to. There is a sad truth to this and I believe we are seeing it more today then it was then. This is why Paul told Timothy to:
2 Tim. 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Annie, this is not being cold hearted but doing the only thing we can in obedience to the Lord. When I first discovered the cold hard facts about my congregation I went on a preaching binge to change all of them, of course it failed and I about gave up.
It was then the Lord took hold of me and revealed the meaning of 2Tim. 4:2 and that this was what I was called to do and the results were up to Him.
You have a tender heart sister and we both along with others see it is time to give warning, but that is where we need to be patient, that after we have done the ‘will of the Lord’ we may see Him work out His promise to everyone who will hear.

Paul did not just tell Timothy to “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”

He told him how and why.

2 Tim. 3:1-4:8
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. [8] Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. [9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. [10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, [11] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. [12] Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. [14] But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
[4:1] I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. [3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. [6] For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Yes these things shall be, man will wax worse and worse; things will go from bad to ….
But in all of this, we have this promise:
1 John 2:17
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Yes Sister Annie, let us “sigh and cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof,” let us pray and seek His face for the lost, and let us shout it from the house tops, Today is the Day of Salvation, tomorrow for many will not come.

Our Lord will not allow one to be lost, who hears and obeys. Praise His Holy Name!

Thank you Pastor. I think you know how much I respect you. I DO know you have a burden for souls, lest you wouldn't be here.

You know you have my respect ---- Ha, ya sure should by now. :-D

That's why I stuck it on your thread. You know!

I think what you're saying is absolutely right, it's just that we are many members of one body and the Lord uses us differently although we're ONE. And I'm sure glad we are One. :-)

It's not too often that I get thrown outta bed like the other nite and the burden for souls "in" the Chruch hit That hard and has been gradually growing to almost the exploding point. I can't stop it by my own will.

I never felt my "gift" was evangelism, but now my heart is also going to the non-belivers like never before too .... now 'that' I know must be the Lord and not me, because of how deep seated it is suddenly these last three days.

I'm a connect the dots type person. I've watched closely the things we discussed on the News threads, like the executive orders that go along with martial law that ginnyrose just dreamt about above.

And now this pope stuff lately. It's all coming together, just as was planned many many years ago. I read those plans that they wrote 100's of years ago and are fulfilling now.

I told a brother about the extra burden I've always had for those 'in' the Church, the ones that usually leave or get thrown out .... the Word says, they are "Deceived and BEING Deceived". (Actually, "deceiving & being deceived")
That is what I feel the Lord pulled me out of bed for the other night to compile what I posted up top there.

Doesn't make you wrong at all --- it's just what I feel the Lord wanted me to post right now, while there is yet time to not be deceived by the anti-Christ, who will come after this "event" that is coming upon us.

I'm stubborn with tares I guess. I feel the Lord is giving one last call to them before 2Thess2 takes place.

All our gifts or burdens from the Lord differ and look how some have dreams, others visions, some feel research is their calling, others evangelism, and so on - yet together, they make up one Whole message ... and it centers around these days, that precede His Second and Final Coming.

Maybe I'm just a goat herder. Ha. If we're not allowed to pull up tares, may as well try to make 'wheat' out of 'em. Ha, sounds like that genetically modified food post we just did on the News.

You do have a burden for sheep, Brother Shepherd. :-)
Glad of it too.

Thanks, with His Love and burden. Annie

THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE POSTED ON THE "SOMETHING HORRIBLE" THREAD....

In the past two days I have gone to each of my children's homes and told them about the dream I had a couple of weeks ago (posted on this thread).
I felt I needed to prepare them for this event..and tell them we will all most likely be separated and there will be no technical connections available.

I am more aware and certain than ever that something is upon us...
As I sat at the airport on Thursday July 5th, I began reading a book I have had for years, but never once opened, or paid attention to. Eventually I gave the book away. Two months ago in a little Christian Bookstore I ran acrossed this book again, and bought it...yet had not opened it up until July 5. It is David Wilkerson's book "Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth"...(written in 1985).

I could only get thru the first few pages, and had to shut it. I was startled to read that so much of what he wrote about "what is to come" was just as my dream had been and the messages that the Lord has been speaking to my heart over the past decade...

The missile attacks, the devastation, the innumerable deaths. The carnage.

I called a friend, from the airport and I told them what I was reading, and about the dream, and about the people on this site who have had similar experiences.

When I arrived at my sisters home, I tried to keep quiet about what was happening in my head and heart. We were together to celebrate. I didn't want to put a cloud over our visit. As the evening went on, the heaviness on my heart could not be ignored. The next morning I told her about my dream, about the warnings I have journaled over the years and now the David Wilkerson book I had just started reading.
She is the sister I posted about, who was on the way to the airport the day prior to the 9/11 attack, and I had called to tell her that there was danger regarding an airplane...
so
she listened this time again, with respect...knowing that the Lord had put concern on my heart then, and it was real, so He very well may be doing so once more.

That is what I have done...letting my family know that we are being warned of what is ahead. The only child of mine I have not told this to, is my youngest son...he is currently serving in the military, and is in his second deployment overseas...He is aware of much...and lives in a state of being prepared. I will tell him soon, so he knows that we are preparing ourselves over here.

I still don't understand the full purpose of some of us having insight to what is ahead. We are going to be just as alarmed. Because when it does happen, we will be separated from those we love, at least for a while. There will be uncertainty and concern. Yes, we know the Lord, Yes, we have had discernment of these things to come. Yes, we know that God is in control...but we love our children, our families and it will be natural to want to be able to contact them and know they are alright.

My other question is this: Will this event be 1. To Wake up America 2. To Wake up the Church 3. The Beginning of the End

How will God be Glorified and the lost find Hope and the Church get out of her coma, if the mass majority of people are dead?

Pastorfrin( and any one else of course)...I would greatly appreciate your words of wisdom and insight.
Thank you...Bonnie

ps...ginnyrose...I am guessing the reason you didn't think to use the cell phone in your dream is because, there will be no "technical" service when this all happens.
your dream is similar to mine in that we were both aware of the "separation" from the one(s) we love.

Dear Bonnie, we've been talking some on the Bees thread on News section.

There's something called EMP. Electo-magnetic-pulse.

It knocks out radar just before a missile strike.

It also knocks out other types of electronic communications also radios, etc. and 'could' effect anything electrical. So there's also the chance of that happening about an hour or so before a strike.
Besides the E.O.s we spoke about on that bees thread.

I'd have to definitely say, #3. Unquestionably.

The next world war will usher in the world gov. and then the anti-Christ. Unquestionably.

We'll recover .... won't be completely destroyed but will never be "free" again.
All in the name of "Peace and Safety".

LORD Bless you.

This makes me sad. My heart crys for the lost, the sleeping, the careless selfish people who won't give God their hearts, because they are self sufficient and comfortable...YET they WOULD if they were "awake"...
I was hoping this was a "wake up" one that would reach all borders of America; so the shaking would effect everyone...and the people would cry out to God and be saved...Not destroyed.
The hearts of people are so hard. 9/11 and New Orleans, and so many other tragic events only had minimal heart changing effects...But if we were all affected wouldn't that make a difference?
I "desperately DESPERATELY" want to see the Church of Jesus Christ rise up and become that Bride without spot or wrinkle...And God Glorified and the lost come RUNNING hungry to hear of Him...and turn their lives to Him...
I don't know the glory in them being destroyed...and it crushes my heart to the core.

I am an odd one. I know that. I have been hurt and betrayed and misunderstood and lied against by the ones I have loved so dear...YET, I pray fervently over my enemies... Wen I hear that they are suffering demise, I agonize over them.
That is why I can't rejoice that people will be destroyed.

but it makes sense I suppose. why would God come down in judgement on a Nation that had turned to Him...just as He did not destroy Nineveh.

I plead over the lives of people...just this morning I have been before the Lord, for someone that grossly misinterpretted me and has severed all communication..yes, it hurt; but I got into God's Presence, His Love washed over me, I am walking in absolute forgiveness for them. May God be Glorified in their lives and in that situation...that is how I would love to see things turn, on a National scale....

If so many of us are being prewarned...doesn't that mean we should be the Jonah's speaking what we believe is to happen IF we do not turn back to God?

I know I am rambling here. This is a topic so heavy on my mind and heart.

Years ago, I was speaking to a friend who had allowed bitterness and unforgiveness to cloud over his "representation of Christ"...
I showed him scripture and we talked...I was getting frustrated .... then the Holy Spirit spoke into my spirit to not be frustrated with this man..."You wouldn't be mad at Clark, if you were trying to show him something and he couldn't see it" CLARK was our blind friend...zero eyesight....
So there God was telling me that blinded eyes can only be open by Him.

I was hoping these events I have been forewarned about, were events that would wake up the Nation and open up the blinded eyes...

"I once was blind but now I see"...Praise God for His Amazing Grace!

Bonnie, you're not 'rambling" --- you're unloading a real burden to us.

Your burden has been mine & ours also.

I posted what I felt was literally tearing my guts out on page one of this thread we're on and again on this other thread ... on a post down by the bottom ...

https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic_id=6767&forum=36&start=10&viewmode=flat&order=0

Didn't want to say it all over again.

I just posted to another thread just now ...
2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

About 4 years ago, a similar burden hit me hard and the LORD spoke to my heart and said, "Gird up your heart, for MANY that you 'know' are not going to be saved {meaning those who profess they 'know' Him} but will turn on My people."

That was really a fearful saying because I'm really sensitive, so I knew WHY He had to warn me to "gird up my heart", because if He hadn't --- the sheer pain of losing loved ones or ANYONE to deception would have just as well Killed me if He hadn't warned me to toughen up and to KNOW THAT HE IS GOD and that HE KNOWS THOSE THAT ARE HIS OR WILL BE.

That's why I'm so much into His Foreknowledge.

He KNOWS who will stay "Faithful unto the end".

We're already in those days.

The "Camps" are formed & forming.

Those who live by "the letter of the law" ... I'm sorry but this is heavy-deep-painful stuff to write --- and those who live by the "spirit of the law - Agape"

Very painful stuff to write and GOD open the eyes of our understanding to know what He meant by all that's HE'S WRITTEN.

Bonnie, thank you for sharing here, but please hang tight in there.

Be "Jealous for HIS Glory" ... because all those who The Father has "given" Jesus, will not slip from His Hands."

"Those whom He did FOREKNOW ... He did predestine to be conformed into HIS IMAGE"

"He learned 'obedience' through what HE suffered"

So do we. He promised we would.

But be of good cheer .... He said ... "LOOK UP - FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH".

It's not selfish to "gird up your heart" for the ones who Refuse Him. HE is worthy to be LOVED.
If folks CHOOSE to not LOVE, GOD WHO BECAME LOVE-INCARNATE, then what can 'we' do more ?

Just LOVE them - love all and if they don't LOVE HIM because of it ... we must turn away when He comes for us ... lest we be like Lot's wife, in a way.

Not being hard ... but that's why HE said we need to love Him more than wives, children, parents, husbands, Etc..

Love His Will. He's not "willing that any should perish" and neither are we ... Thank God ... but the day will come when they hate us, because they hate Him ... and actually, they already do.

Be faithful unto The End!

See you with Him Sister. :-D

Thank you Annie for your words of confirmation.
It has been interesting to read these posts; see similarities in what others have been given insight to, and recognize that there is an Army of God out there proclaiming His Word and fighting in prayer for the lost, for the Church.
That part is encouraging.

S.I. is like a "refuge" of sorts for me. It is a place where I am not alone in what I believe. I wonder if when this site was being "birthed" if they realized that it would be much more than be a Christian site, but rather a place for the Remnant to come and be encouraged as we open up to each other the things that most around us don't understand.

My vacation ends today. I am getting ready to work tonight...so I will not be "making as much noise" as I have these past few days...but I will check in on you and everyone else here...

Take care...and Thank you again, Annie.

Bless you Bonnie. Well, like Bell said, I'm sure Greg says, "Look what GOD has wrought", or something 'like' that.

Hey, the key word is "watch" ... so I think if we all "stay awake and watch" then we can keep blowing trumpets, when each one finds a news clip or something that stands out to them from the Word or from wherever, as it has been.
To "watch and stay awake" is a good thing that Jesus said to us. It's so easy to lose the important things by detours put in our way, that we're not even conscious of, until we hear 'another' trumpet blast.
As Peter said before his chapter on end times - 2Pe 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance ......

We 'do' have Watchmen on the walls here. All four walls are covered sister.
You've seen all of the threads during your vacation ~ Praise The LORD!

Check in regularly and know you are loved here also.

Bless you and stay in deep constant prayer.
Pray without ceasing.
Have you noticed that, you could be talking to someone, or singing a song or working and realize in the back of your head somewheres, you've been talking to God (praying) all that while and weren't conscious of it for a while, but it hasn't really stop ?
NEAT!

God Bless you sister.
See you soon.

That is sooo true...Pray without Ceasing...I have to laugh...I am continually talking to the Lord...it is just natural to me to incorporate Him into every part of my life/day; and recently I have been "caught" ...
yep, it appears I am talking to myself... hee hee
but I am praying...

So yes... I understand what you are saying about always being mindful of Him altho other and conversations and activities are going on...

Hi Bonnie and all of you dear brothers and sisters,

First, everyone stop and take a deep breath let it out slowly, take another one and say ‘Praise the Lord’ there, you feel better now?

When the Lord spoke to my heart that night, He said “fear not for I am with you” now don’t you think He means what He says?

I have no idea what will happen next and I truly believe if He wants us to know He will tell us. What He has told us is this; ‘HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US’ whatever He calls us to go through, HE will be there with us. Do you believe this?

Quote:
"I still don't understand the full purpose of some of us having insight to what is ahead. We are going to be just as alarmed. Because when it does happen, we will be separated from those we love, at least for a while. There will be uncertainty and concern. I think part of this has already been answered and that is to sound the alarm, to blow the trumpet and to tell all to get your house in order and to make sure your lamps are full.

When I was diagnosed with kidney cancer I was not afraid for myself but for my family. I told the Lord I was worried about who would take care of my family. He spoke to my heart these words;
“ I AM ABLE to take care of your family” I broke down before Him and confessed my unbelief and immediately had perfect peace.
Jesus taught us to pray:

Matthew 6:9-13
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give us this day our daily bread. [12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Notice: The first petition in this prayer, “Thy kingdom come.” The second petition, “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

The beginning of every day I ask for His will to be done in my family and myself, I then have perfect peace that we are in His will, whatever comes at us is then to give Him Glory as we trust in His will to be worked out in us.

This is what the Lord meant when He said:
Matthew 10:37
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

We must love Him enough to place them into His Will and trust in His Love for them, He always knows best.

Quote:
"My other question is this: Will this event be 1. To Wake up America 2. To Wake up the Church 3. The Beginning of the End

How will God be Glorified and the lost find Hope and the Church get out of her coma, if the mass majority of people are dead?"
_______________________________________________________________________________

1.\tAmerica will not wake up, it is only a kingdom in this world not His kingdom. America is a much bigger player in the kingdoms of this world than most realize.
2.\tThe true Church will know and through their testimony in word and deed some will turn to the Lord.
3.\tThe beginning of the End?
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
The Lord has no problem being glorified:
John 12:28
Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

1 Cor. 15:28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Pray for the Moslems 5/6 of them will be destroyed and it could be very soon. Pray for our troops all over the world, that the Lord will have mercy on them and they will see the truth and pray for all the lost that you know right now. Lift up one another in love:

1 John 4:11-12
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. [12] No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

2 John 1:5
And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

Finally, if nothing happens tonight, then continue to do these things as if it will happen any moment.

2 Tim. 2:3
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 2:10
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

SO, " look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."

Why? Because the LORD SAID SO. Praise You Jesus!

In His Love
