I just wanted to share something dear to me from my childhood. My brother Paul died of cancer about a week after he turned five years of age. I was six at the time. He was my only sibling. He was physically a wreck, he was blind and his eyes were being pushed out of his head from the tumor in his brain. But I shall never forget what he said before he passed.
"Jesus is coming downstairs to get me"

What a testimony to His Mercy! Just think, Brother, one day He is coming back for you too!(and me too) And when next you see your brother, you can spend eternity together giving Him Glory and Honor.

Oh man, that was wonderful words of life. My eyes welled up with tears."Jesus is coming downstairs to get me"
Just think that at one time, Jesus went downstairs to death to save us from our sins, to take upstairs to the Father.

How are you taking the death of your father?
It is great to know that your father has conquered death.
I remember when my friend Jim died, who was more than a friend.
I spent more time with him than my own family.
It took me three days to get over it.
Knowing he was in heaven is such a fantastic thought that he is dancing and out dancing the angels.
It is such a great thought to know that god loves us. To me the hardest thing when my friend died to get over his loss.
It is like you are in two world you do not know whether to mourn or rejoice.

The last weak words my dad spoke in intensive care were, "Pray, pray, pray." His daughters, wife, step-kids, sisters and brother all started praying, "Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven..." By the time we were finished, he was gone. He had been converted for the last three months of his life and we all knew that he knew Jesus by the deeds done in his body... they were way different than how he had behaved before. No one questioned his salvation!!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!
I have a story from my sister's life... she is a nurse and many years ago at Cookeville General Hospital (in Cookeville TN) there was an elderly woman in the hospital whom she talked with about Jesus. The woman mentioned she was worried leaving because her children weren't saved. Not soon after the woman fell into a coma and was in it for two weeks, when the doctor called her children to come and say their goodbye because her organs were failing.
(My sister was in the room when this happened.) Her family was gathered around her bed crying and this elderly woman whose body is dying and had been in a coma for two weeks out of the blue sits straight up in the bed with arms raised and with the biggest smile on her face said, "Oh my Lord, how beautiful." And then just dropped back down on the bed having passed from this life to the next.
What a testimony she left for her children!!
Those are tremendous words of hope for all of us who have watched a loved one suffer and go on into Eternal life...

I had peace and I still do. It was hard seeing my brother taking it so hard. But I had perfect peace in my heart. it had been 8 months now.
it was On fathers day when someone sent me a email saying happy fathers day and what a speacial it was. It really got me thinking how wonderful it was to be with my father. I really didn't to talk to anyone about my father. One person or two no one ask So I haven't said anything this whole time. I guess here and there but not much.. But on fathers day I started thinking about the things my father said to me. Thats when I started wirting the story of me and my father on the story father and daughter .. on one of fourms

I am so blessed by my father, he was my father it took years to come to be his friend but God is good to take what wronged but sin God made it whole. That is why before died, his last words
mean so much. They showed me heavenly fathers love. Father kept saying I love I love I love
does not God say over and over I love you I love you.
I can rejoice when my father passed away he is heaven.
