I would have to ask what you mean by prayer?
Did I get on my hands and knees at a set time each day?
Did I go to a prayer meeting?
Or do you mean just an all day open communication of talking to the Father and He talking to me kind of praying?
If you mean the latter, then yes.
Do I pray for others? certainly. But not religiously, usually when the persons name or face enters my mind is when I pray for them.
I can become quite "religious" when I set down standards for myself in what I think a Christian should be doing. Therefore, I have struggled to stop doing that so that I can just live one day at a time. I know my weaknesses and I know my limitations and for me to set down a prayer time will become a religious practice that my flesh will revel in, therefore I avoid it. And when I do, I am blessed.
For me prayer is all day, sometimes I may stop what I am doing and just intercede for someone and then resume what I was doing. For example, the day the Twin Towers fell in New York, I was in another city just walking down the street praying and worshiping the LORD and I felt this overwhelming burden enter my spirit and I had to find a place to get off the street and let this run it's full course. I found a Men's washroom and there was no one there. I wept sore, praying in tongues and had no idea for what, till I heard the news later on that day.
Everyone's prayer meeting is different, this is my niche , and thanks for starting this thread and asking me.
