He who is the Bread of Life began His ministry
hungering. He who is the Living Water ended
His ministry thirsting. Christ hungered as a
man, but fed the multitudes as God. He was
scorned and reviled, yet He is worthy of our
highest praise. He came as a humble carpenter;
yet He made the heavens and the earth. He was
weary and tired, yet He is our rest and peace.
He was called a devil, but He cast out demons.
He prayed; yet He hears prayer. He wept, and
He dries all our tears. He was sold for thirty
pieces of silver; yet He redeems sinners with
His precious blood. He was led like a lamb to
slaughter, yet He is the Good Shepherd. He
gave up His very life; and by dying He destroyed
death!! :-D
