Guidance from God was so important,
so necessary; that the Hebrews had
three words to describe it:
nahag-- to go before, to lead the way
as God lead the Israelites
through the wilderness.
darak-- to walk beside as a guide
along the journey
nahal-- to watch over, to tend with
care as Shepherd does His flock
