Day of Refinement

In my prayer time the word 'Refinement' was coming to me over and over. So as usual, when this sort of thing happens I say, ok, Lord what do you want to say about refinement. I really think it has much to do with what has been discussed on the forum recently also. Praise God for I know He is working amongst us!May 4, 2004This is the day of "Refinement". The Lord wants all of his people to go through His refinement. How polished we all will be. How lovingly in the Master's hands, we will be handled. Many times painful- yet glorious at the end.Let us walk with Him into the Refiner's fire. Let go of your fears, let go of what you are holding onto. The Refiner's fire is for the pure in heart. The refiner's fire is for those who hear Him and heed Him.How excellent is the work of His hands. How perfect in shape and size does He make each one of us. Hold onto Him, lean into Him as you pass through the Refiner's fire.Could not the mightiest and strongest pass through the fire without running away at the first sign of heat? Yet His humble ones will stay and press through.Could it be that it is almost time to go Home? Could it be that He is preparing you for Himself? Have you not seen, have you not heard those things that others only wish to have seen and heard?You are a peculiar people- distinct. The Lord has made you distinct. Follow Him into the Refiner's fire and let him show you to the world. Let Him display His righteousness through you.However far He asks you to go- will you go?
