Read this quote and it spoke to me.

'We will not find God in our homes unless we stop and pray there'. - Margaret Hebblethwaite.

This I don't doubt many do pray, and do not simply reserve 'prayer' for church.

But if both father and mother are out at work, and the children are in daycare, then, who is at home to pray?

Many pastors, evangelists and Christians, both past and present, can testify to having had a godly praying mother.

That dwindles as time goes by.

Titus 2v3-5 tells us the responsibility of the Christian woman, and that the word of God be not blasphemed because we would live otherwise.

With prayer in the home, we acknowledge our whole dependance upon the God of all creation, for He is worthy of all glory.

[color=0000FF]Amen, prayer is important anywhere all the time. In our Old Testament pictures, we can see in the lives of God's people their constant communication with God, as in the life of Daniel for an example, constant prayer and in your face to the earthly authorities attitude, always in the servant respect to God, and it always brought about HIS protection for them and those around HIM, even when it appeared the deck was stacked against them. The three Hebrew children said, " we will not bow down to you and your idols O' King, if you throw us into that firey furnace, our God will save us, and even if HE don't save us, we still will serve HIM and will not bow down to you. What the world needs now from all of us.[/color]
