Please pray for me, that God will somehow be most glorified through tonight and the coming weeks.
I just moved back into my parents' home. I've been out for about six years, lived in other countries. Despite having been "raised Christian" and graduating from a bible college, I wasn't born again until last September.
Tonight is my older sister's birthday and she's coming for dinner. She converted to Roman Catholicism three years ago. I haven't seen or spoken with her in about a year.
On another note... 1 John 4 and Ephesians 5, and 2 Cor. 7:1...
I've been meditating on these. Specifically how others, and myself at times, rationalize what it means to give your goods to brothers in need. Or what it means to not let filthiness of speech be "once named among you", or to perfect holiness in the fear of God.
This might be a long year.
"Do not be surprised when the world hates you."
Love,
