Can we love sin?

Suppose a loving and beloved husband dies a violent death.

Can his wife love, and admire, and value the sword,
or the pistol, by which her husband lost his life?

As little can true believers love sin; for by it, Christ,
the bridegroom of their souls, was put to death.
