I stumble upon a website called thewww.thetruechurch.info and was wondering if anyone has heard of them and what they might think?
i found it very curious and interesting. They claim that Macarthur and Spurgeon are false teachers. Those guys I have always looked up to.
This fellow that runs that website is very unbalanced and his name is "darwin fish" I do not agree with the website and think it is junk food for the mind. Many people have taken some time to let people know its not worth reading his materials:

The founder's daughter is a regular poster to an elist I subscribe to. We exchanged a few private emails a few months ago. There was no reasoning with her at all. They not only believe Macarthur and Spurgeon are false teachers, but everyone who is not part of their church. His daughter basically told me unless I believed everything exactly as they did, I was going to hell. Also, if I believed these men to be men of God, I was deceived and going to hell.

I appreciate the articles, I have emailed him with questions, he seems very mean to say the least. If it is true in what he believes then I guess there is no hope for any of us? Does he know about context? He seems to through around verses for everything. Do you think he is a cult and a tool for satan. that seems to be my thought. I don't know what else he has to gain.
reformer, you hit a main feature of "Personality Cults". The Leaders are "mean".
That's the first thing that should be watched for.
They demand submission, gentleness and so forth from their followers, but in turn they can be very heartless and mean toward anyone that doesn't tote their own invisible line.
That's a means of control - to keep the people frightened of them and under submission.
Confusing people by "what is alright and what isn't" is the constant "tension" they hold over the people.
Their "rebukes" are very unkind and that is classic of Personality Cults.
I read just one critique just now that this man did on the Bobgan's, who I happen to respect and found he was grasping for straws and splitting hairs.
These type men have nothing much going for them except that they can rip others apart to make something out of and a name for themselves.
I call them the little Napoleons. Power hungry.
If his ministry was there to "heal" broken people - he wouldn't be "mean" himself.
It's men like that that make the good Heresy exposers look bad.
Also if the attention is not toward Christ alone and more toward the authors themseves - No Good.
Kingdom builders they're called. Their Ministries are not pointing to Jesus alone but toward themselves and their own name.
"Mean" equals Not Good/Control freaks.

I have been a believer for many years, I find myself to be somewhat knowledgeable, but I have to say they do make compelling statements as far as scripture goes. I do believe they are correct that it is not just a "believe" but a turning away from sin and repentance.n I sadly to say that I was getting a bit concerned about myself, because they were so determined to use scripture on liners? but the more I looked into it I did not see any love, but only hate! The text that Paul was talking about he was glad that Jesus was proclaimed, even if they were not pure in motives.
They need to be exposed!!

Darwin used to attend Grace Community Church and was told to leave and his membership was striken from the church. According to Phil Johnson they went through proper church discipline and Darwin would not repent. So, Phil goes into detail about this in a letter to defend Macarthur.
