Halal or not?

E

No doubt, we have all noticed the sale of halal meat and products in the shops.

I went to buy some food and found the halal sign on it. If you don't know what it looks like, it is hard to describe, but it looks like arabic writing.

I didn't buy it, but bought something else instead.

I didn't buy it because for one thing, I don't want to support their cause.

Another thing is, halal is just an anagram of allah.

Maybe I'm making too big an issue over something seemingly small.

But, if Christians accept such small things, what will they not accept? Especially religions that defy the word of God and murder and persecute Christians world wide.

In some European countries, muslims are trying to ban pork, and will spit on displays of pork so that they cannot be sold.

We are talking about more than just food here, a lot more.

But that's it for now.

God bless.

I think it comes under the category of meat offered to idols (Rom 14 etc).

Personally I don't think I could bring myself to buy it, for that and the reasons you mention - especially:
