Removing the veil

Christians many times hide Christ behind the veil of their flesh.
When Moses came down from the Mount His countenance glowed, but Moses covered His face so that the people could not see that the glow was fading as time passed.

The world waits today for the Sons of God to be revealed but our transformation is being stymied by sins of the flesh that veil God’s Devine Love that remains in us. The failure to love with charity causes Christians to manifest their own worldly judgements void of the Devine Love that comes from knowing Christ.

The manifested Devine love of Christ should be evident in we that are children of God. Our countenance may not be as clear as some more matured Christian that walks in charity by grace. Forgiving others of their trespasses and praying for their enemies, turning the other cheek, accepting their cross as a disciple of Christ and manifesting Christ,s countenance by cleansing ourselves in Him, The Word of God that others may be drawn to Him.

By the Devine Love that abides in us we know that we are children of God. You can't clearly know now what you will be, but when He appears you should know that you will have to be like Jesus to attend His wedding feast.

So true brother,

The sign of the covenant of which we are apart is as it was with Abraham, the sign of circumcision. We understand this circumcision to be the circumcision of the heart, the removal of the old "flesh", so that we can live by His Spirit and be the true sons of God. If we have been taught as the truth is in Jesus, we have been taught that we are to put off, mortify, the deeds, or practices of the old man, and clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ. When God sees those who by His own Spirit's work are bearing His own image, He will say what He said after He made the first man - "it was very good!" May we all bear the likeness of the last Adam so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment - because "As He is, so are we - in this world."

But, we are not as he is, we can only hope and pray to be as he is. It is not by might nor by power but by his Spirit says the Lord. We know that we have been created in his image, but do we know how to walk in His image. The shinning of his light upon the countenance of our faces is not a show but the evidence of a hunger and a passion for his love to be shed abroad through us, as mouth pieces, and as willing hands and feet. It is the hunger for more of him in our lives that we must continuously ignite.

How do we keep this hunger ignited, by loving one another, as Christ loved the church, as Christ loves the church “- - “ keeping his commandments, yes as it is written in 1 John.
The word commandments there means to dip, it means robe. We dip our robes in his blood, and cloth ourselves anew. When we are seen by the Father it is not our own righteousness that he sees, for our righteousness is as filthy rags, but he sees the righteousness of his Son Jesus. He sees the work of his son in us, he sees that we have been made in is likeness, and that we bear is name inside. He sees that we are striving to be perfect as he is perfect. The igniting of this hunger bears with it a consuming fire and in this consuming fire there is fear, not fear to approach him for he is approachable, but the bearing witness of the consuming fire God’s consuming fire in Him. When confronted and or when used as a vessel there is fear and trepidation. I understand this now and it is not to be taken likely.

Our Lord Jesus indicated that men would see more than filthy rags when His Spirit came to indwell us. He spoke of the good works they would see His Spirit produce in us that would cause men to glorify the Father in Heaven. Those who truly know the Lord Jesus are learning to walk even as He walked. With the new heart they have received, and the new mind they are continually being renewed in. They are going from faith to faith, from one degree of glory to another. They are being conformed to His image, His obedience, His faithfulness, His righteousness. Paul was not afraid to say, "You know how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed." What pure gracious boldness. Even our beloved apostle John reminded us that "If our hearts do not condem us we have confidence before God, because we keep His commandments and always do what pleases Him." How precious is the work of grace that can glorify the Father for producing such a righteousness that is blameless before God and men. God is at work in us to will and to do according to His good pleasure and one of His good pleasures is "that we be blameless and harmless sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world."
Our confidence in the day of judgment is not only that we have dipped our robes in His precious blood, but that "as He is so are we in this world." Oh for more saints like those in Sardis, "who have not defiled their garments and they shall walk with me in white because they are worthy."
So I am grateful for the blood of Christ that alone can wash away every sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Yet I am equally grateful for the Spirit of Promise, the Holy Spirit, sent to indwell these vessels of clay to show that the all surpassing power is of God and not ourselves. I rejoice that if we walk in step with the Comforter, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, but His precious fruit will be displayed to the glory of God the Father. In the same way that Adam's sin made many men actual practicing sinners, our Lord's obedience makes men actual doers of righteousness. "Little children let no man deceive you, he who does what is righteous is righteous even as He is righteous. This is truly amazing grace.

Any one who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life aibing in him. Can such a person love? Sure he can love himself and his in a narcist love.

Matthew 5: 46.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Can such a person love the children of God? No, the forces of love and hate are inherent, if your father is the devil then you hate and if you have been converted and born again then you love with Devine Love that is love for others, you are the target of the hate of them that are of the devil.

Matthew 5:
43. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

The two great forces in the world are love and hate and Devine Love can be found only in Christ Jesus. When we hate we are capable of committing the most vile of acts because of the hurt, rage and distrust that hate genders in us, Christians are capable of temporally falling back into anger but we should guard against sinning by acting on our emotion of anger.

If you are a Christian you can’t keep from loving. That is the difference in the Children of God and the children of evil.
