Hi all,
When I've talked with people about Harry Potter I've run up against this line of thinking from others who've been into the occult. These aren't exact quotes, but they go something like this, "It's not really witchcraft and wizardry so it's not condemned by the Bible", or, "It's just fiction so it's ok to read." What do you all think of this and what does the Bible say about it?
I said if you use the line of think that's it just fiction you can justify reading porn novels, but they say it's not the same thing. However, I think the Bible condemns reading both types of books.
