The Sabbath

sermonindex Oct 8, 2007

It is with sadness that I was informed that the discussion about the sabbath was locked.

first I received an email from the moderator that follows.

""""""""""""""sabbath

I understand conversation has gone on about this subject in the forums but after some review I would ask that you do not "teach" any more on this subject in the forums.

thank you

Greg"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

please, I want to ask everybody to read the posts and be the judge as to the fairness of Greg's decision.

Some people have written to me, trying to shup me up, but I suppose that Greg has heard their plea and decided to lock the forum.

I am not afraid of the truth brother, are you?

Some people have written to me, trying to shup me up, but I suppose that Greg has heard their plea and decided to lock the forum.

I have written this user another message kindly asking him not to talk on this dividing subject in the way he has. I do believe there is a place to speak about the sabbath and there are clear teachings on the "more weighty" spiritual applications of the sabbath. SermonIndex does not uphold or condone a "seventh day Adventist" stance on the sabbath. On keeping the sabbath as a rule I leave that to each individual believer as what the Lord shows them in their conscience.

Two clear principles that go over these "earthly" applications is: Jesus Christ our Lord is our Sabbath. And our eternal rest in heaven is spoken as Sabbath.

I am locking this thread again, and also serve this as a public warning to brother Jayme not to post on this subject anymore on the forums. Thank you for all that are praying and making "prayerful" efforts to keep the discussions on the sermonindex forums a place of edification and growth in the Lord.
