[b]I Bow O Lord Draw Near[i]by Alan Martin
What could posses a people in such need
their Savior spurn and chide
What can explain such foolish deed
Except religion's blinded pride
How can one hate The perfect love
whose mouth never knew guile
only good news preached to the poor
The sinner's debt - He reconciled
How can it be Him they despised
The One true God revealed
Who bore their sorrows took their stripes
that their own scars be healed
And now I ask myself if even I
Had seen would have believed
If I His own He came to save
Would Him have full received
Not for a fool would I be known
What more do I need hear
Not one more grace need I be shown
I bow O Lord draw near
His unworthy servant
