A MUST LISTEN TO: Carter Conlon/ Neil Rhodes

I listened to the message from Carter Conlon and had mixed emotions. God has shown me similar things in my walk as we have been taken out of the local church for a time and tried fellowshipping with others that were also come out. We were very quickly wrapped up in a divorce remarriage issue that nearly trashed my wife. We were no longer brother and sister but aliens in the "body". Legalism kills!!! But even while God has been showing me grace and mercy in my zeal for His Name, I am still called legalistic by those who are in complacency. My concern is that as many come out of the false belief systems, and someone comes along their side to help them to know a narrow walk they have never known, this message may only confirm their fleshly desire to cast off restraint. This concern is similar to a message that it is okay to continue in sin that grace may abound. This is a false message that allows the flesh to have it's way. Carter's message was good, may the Holy Spirit keep it right as it is heard so as not to be distorted.

We are called to be worshippers, I mean that in the sense not only during times when music is playing but also in the sense of offering our lives to God as a living sacrifice. The picture that stands good for this kind of life is that of a dust devil that you might find in the western states of the US. As the wind blows in an upward circular motion it takes up with it everything it touches, in the same way, our lives touch many and as we live a life of worship we actually influence everything around us, as with dust devils (what an oxymoron) you'll notice sometimes things are flung away because it refuses to be taken up with the wind. As to church folks? Even Paul had to correct people on the whole grace sin issue. Just be a worshipper of God and live a life as salt and light and others will see and glorify the Father. As I'm writting it's as if I can hear the Lord saying you're a good man, so I'll just add, press on brother. God Bless Bro. daryl
