I was amazed yesterday how things will slowly converging together!! It suddenly occured to me that the WOF books and the Emergent Church groups will slowly or are allready together

Hi Dom. You are right. They have already converged. Also with the eccumenical movement and the contemplative prayer/spirituality groups, plus, plus.
Everyday it seems, we read of "a new thing" being taught and then it goes through these converged churches - that's the step beyond the "emergent". This converged group makes me think of dripping seperate drops of oil on top of a big bowl of water and when you get up the next morning, it's just one blob or mass of oil.

They're being hooked in by a "truth" - which is "preaching love and unity".
See how subtle or tactful that is?

Eventually, what this is leading to is just two groups.

Those who will be killing us "thinking they are doing God a service."

Some folks get sick of talking about "heresy hunters" or these ministries that pour out their energies on finding false doctrine or new movements, but they are helping us to see this 'church' that's in the making, that is not THE Church - but consists of those who will one day try to stamp out His Church and get Her off 'their' planet.

Yes, that's how serious this is.

Glad you see that clearly.

LORD Bless.

To me it has been a muddy mixture even now I have been waiting for things to be so blatantly obvious so I can run away from it.
I know that I can get deceived and probably have deceived my self in certain areas but I want truth to bombard my life like B52 bombers with the grace and truth of god.
I have been seeing so many dodgy books I have a desire for life and truth like a man in a desert who has not seen water in his lifetime and for Jesus himself. Because then I can face my most inner problems and look on his face

Brother - Thank You For This Post Quoted Below -

The problem that I found is when argueing someone has got to be right and someone has got to wrong.
Their are some issues which is not the case but when we are debating issues such as the deity of christ and someone says that is only an opinion or even maybe a smaller issue.
I have been noticing how small issues in my life affect big things. God deliver me from small sins.

If you have a tap or rain dripping on a mountain it would slowly erode the mountain.

This is also true in Christianity if someone slightly changes something, to me I ask why.
We have a Messiah who is the

Then their must be certain absolutes or constants such as Gravity in the universe.
The bible is one of those constants, we need the inspiration of the holy spirit and Jesus.

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

The holy spirit is the sprit of truth

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

This world it's essence does not want to come to Jesus or know truth, even I do not.

Their was one time argueing with people even with the evidence right before their eyes did not believe what I was saying.
I had a time in university when people fobbed or dismissed the gospel as only an opinion, this is so much in the church even if you mention something fundamental to the faith it is only classed as an opinion.
I like absolutes such as the promises of god and his covenant with us. To me the bible is an absolute or a constant which does not need updating or improving.
It is sometimes we try and change god into our image rather than god trying to change us into his image.
It is so restful to know that we have a god who has existed before time began and will be around when time has ended.

Mt 5:18 - Show Context
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

I rely on the bible like the constant of gravity

The bible as a constant speaks against this world it is not from this world and this world in essence is anti-Christ.

I have been studying the movement for sometime and I discovered that this movement isnt new at all.
The AG discredited all their LatterRain teachings in 1949 and again in their position paper in 2000.

For me I was going to a church AG oddly enough who teach some of those doctrines though overtly
under another ministry inside the building.
I was under so much turmoil about it I left that church but still was compiling info about them that I would maby someday drop the hammer on them.
I though I was helping God, "like he needs help"
I never had a peace about it and finally The Lord let me know that he was in control and I was only hurting my walk by trying to help him.
I needed to let it go and serve him in ways that he wants me to serve him.
There are those who are called to be heresy hunters, but as for me I was told not to be.
God bless
