Devotional: Every time a rescue occurs, there are predicable feelings of fear within many. When the rescue has been repeated over time, then one would expect the response of the one saved….to be humble and passionate for their deliverer. The precious LORD says that HE inhabits our praises. Isaiah 57:15 “The high and lofty ONE who inhabits eternity, the Holy ONE, says this: "I live in that high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts.” And in Jeremiah 17:!4 “O LORD, you alone can heal me; you alone can save. My praises are for you alone!” My increasing belief and faith as such, leans on HIS WORD, “In everything, give thanks” To summarize, praise the LORD in everything! That is an action that has results!! I can bemoan my existence, the ills of my health or the injustice done against me…and achieve only more heartache and more distress. YET if I focus solely on CHRIST in the midst of every storm, then the outpouring of my fervent praise as such, reaches HIS ears with the sweetest of sounds. Let us praise HIM on our way through life! No other verbal action can add to our peace and faith daily…such as with praising JESUS without ceasing! Amen and amen!
Praise Battles
When the saints cry out, tis joyous
for the end they know…HE set.
Having placed all into motion,
therefore, HIS perfect will is done.
Thus, relentlessly rejoicing
in the midst of hellish strife
is every soul who praises CHRIST
because their battle…HE has won.
For HE calls, “React no longer
with the fear which births dark shadows!
Though your Sight incites concern,
share no emotions which detract!
Rather, praise ME whilst the thunder
echoes off each bitter wave!
Enduring worships’ sweetest songs
are those which drive Hell’s demons back!
Even those whose pain is silent,
yea, each heart which bears no tear;
I say, “Transform your speech aloud…
till every devil hears rejoicing!
Then shall I, MY dear beloved,
intervene as has been planned…
and what once plagued you shall be crushed
now that MY praise – your soul – is voicing!
